Sunday, January 16, 2011. Parenting is Like a Box of Crayons. After a brief stint of screaming and uncontrollable emotions, I have one child who is grounded from TV and computer and claims that we don't love her as much and that she has nothing else that she could possibly do and another child who is basking in a world of being "the good one". The Sparks Family Chronicles: March 2011

Monday, March 28, 2011. Why when he NEVER sleeps in our bed does he come in tonight like it's an every night thing? Did he actually understand me when I said earlier in the day that he could? I think probably every pet owner has been sure that their pet can understand every word they are saying at one time or another). Or does he know that I wouldn't have let him sleep in the bed before his haircut and bath so he didn't even bother trying? I suppose it's as Jay says, "He's just cold". 1 Look at that face!

Saturday, April 21, 2012. Because I am two. Our youngest sweetheart Jena is blossoming! It has been a journey for us these past two years helping Jena grow and develop. It hasn't always been easy but definitely it has always been joyous! Her smile will melt your heart and she is almost always smiling. Now that Jena has turned two she has decided that there are some big girl things that she can and will do. Such as. Standing up in the wagon on "trail rides" with daddy. And in the grocery cart with mommy.

This is an discussion thread that I composed for an academic discussion, but I think it has great value for any parent committed to student success and to public school success:.
