So practically we only have half day to enjoy here. In the morning, we went to the city again, and decided to try a chocolate place listed in the tourist guide. Wasn’t too impressive. This year I attempted to make Ferrero Rocher snowskin mooncake as suggested my sister and the taste turns out to be a wonderful and pleasant surprise. Everyone love it, especially the kids. Strong demand from the family members to make single yolk mooncake again this year. Thus, after maybe around 10 years of break, I finally made it again. Sunday, November 15, 2009. 1 kg of lotus paste. 100 gm of melon seed. 500 g Fried Glutinous rice flour (Premix). 200 - 225 ml cold water. 1 tsp banana essence. A few drops of coloring. 1 Toast the melon seed for 10 min at 180C. 2 Mix the toasted melon seed into the lotus paste. 3 Mix fried glutinous rice flour and shortening together. 4 Add in essence and coloring into the water but you may not need to use up all the water.
