https://theliteraturenerd.wordpress.com/2012/05/29/a-game-of-thrones

I read books and occasionally say something useful. A Game of Thrones. Leave a comment ». Martin’s popular novel has been turned into a successful HBO drama. I’m on study leave. Therefore I read George R.R. Martin’s novel. A Game of Thrones. In approximately 13 hours. The novel almost drips with the venom of its character, I imagine if I cut myself on one of Martin’s novels I would need an injection – and quickly, for it seems that Martin seems to revel in murdering his characters. Drained and in need of a rest. But now that it is Block Test period and with all that World Cup fever permeating my atmosphere, I’m guessing it’s not entirely possible.
