Last Tuesday they passed a new chicken ordinance so we are all legal to get our 13 chicks next month, woot! All the wonderful moss :(. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. On Saturday my Uncle Kirk and his family were driving through and invited us to the Zoo. We had a great time and Gretal loved the animals! The sad thing is, that was the 3rd time I've been to the zoo and I haven't even lived here a year yet :). My friend Lacey is doing The Compact.

Kids, cuddles and cupboards. June 13, 2015. June 13, 2015. The last few fasting periods have really snuck up on me and caught me completely unawares. I fall off the meal plan wagon only to find myself making sandwiches for lunch and supper. Two days in a row. And pasta for the two following day. Well, there could be worse things. Granola Cereal with Milk and/or Yogurt and blueberries (defrosted). Cheesy Pasta with Green Mix-in. Fruit Kabob with grapes, pineapple and orange. Fruit Smoothie and some nuts.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010. After mentioning these sneaky brownies elsewhere, I was asked to post the recipe. And I'm glad to do it. This recipe comes from Jessica Seinfeld's book 'Deceptively Delicious.' I can't tell you how much I love this cookbook, and how much inspiration for veggie hiding it has given me. One thing about these brownies.let them cool before you eat them. The spinach flavor doesn't totally go away till they're cool. 3 ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate. I used chocolate chips).
