I was planning to head to the gym, get Ashley a haircut (and one for my mom too, she's back in town thank goodness) and go to the pool because we haven't been there enough this summer (just kidding). Friday, February 27, 2009. Basketball season ended this week with a heartbreaking loss by one point at the buzzer. We are so proud of Jonathan and his team. Creekview had not been to a playoff game in 6 years, so leave it to Jonathan to turn things around in just his first year as a Mustang! We're sad that it's all over, but I am glad that Jonathan will be home to help me brave the tornado season that is apparently in full swing. Sunday, February 15, 2009. Saturday, December 19, 2009. No, we haven't fallen off the face of the Earth! Here's a bit of what we've been up to. Basketball season is in full swing. The Mustang Misfits (they have earned this name, trust me) are sporting a 10-5 record which includes a tournament championship. Coach Ellis may end up completely bald by the end of this season. Monday, April 27, 2009. We finally got to meet our newest "family" member this weekend and we are so excited! Kathryn Abigail White is precious and we already love her so much! Ashley is just happy to have another girl around (so am I I already took over some bows for her hair! And Trevor is still talking about Baby Kate. Sara and Josh. Saturday, November 29, 2008. Elvin the Ellis Elf. He arrived tonight and man, he was just in time. Wearing his little red suit and hat this "Elf on the Shelf" has taken our holiday to a new level. Here is Elvin's job description:. Keep a watchful eye on the Ellis children's behavior this holiday season. Fly nightly back to the North Pole to report on above mentioned behavior to Santa. Friday, July 24, 2009. Well, we survived our first family road trip! I have taken many road trips in my life, but the furthest my husband and kids have ever gone is about 5 hours away, so I was nervous. Maybe more so about how my husband would do than the kids! But, we ALL did fabulously and had a super-great time. Here's how it all went down (I'll spare you ALL the details and the 300 pictures):. Days 1-3 Peachtree City, GA! Days 3-8 North Myrtle Beach, SC! Both campuses are beautiful and worth the trip.

Saturday, August 29, 2009. We survived the first week of school! Trevor is a lot better, thank goodness (that was very scary) and we are having a relaxing weekend to catch up on laundry and sleep. Ashley is loving 1st grade and my new class is super cute! They all know their names and are potty trained! Saturday, July 24, 2010. I just love weddings! My cousin Payton said "I Do" to his beautiful bride Whitney on July 10th and we are so happy for them! It was such a fun weekend and we feel honored and blessed to have been a part of their special day. Here are some(lots.) of the highlights:. Ashley, me, and my mom at the Bridesmaids Tea.
