The Missionary Kid

Friday, August 12, 2011. The actual days of bikeweek are going by so quickly now! It seems like an unending pattern of waking up, setting up, taking pictures, preparing the show, completing the show and tearing down. This year, I have really enjoyed being with everyone after the workday at dinner. It has been a lot of fun getting to know people better and then working with them the next day. But I have had a good time and look forward to what is left. Thursday, August 11, 2011. Monday, August 8, 2011.

The Missionary Kid: January 2010

http://themissionarykid-spidey.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, January 5, 2010. We stayed at our friends' house a while. It would be a long drive, so Dad wanted a bit of rest before heading out on the 2,000 mile trip in our tiny RV. After a few days, we knew we had to go. We said our goodbye's, then left. Dad drove long and hard. When we stopped for gas, we made it a very brief pause. Long after dark Dad drove, putting in. Some amazing hours every day. In two days we stopped in Texas, most of the way through the trip. That was record time! After settling in...

The Missionary Kid: March 2011

http://themissionarykid-spidey.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, March 31, 2011. Sorry it has been so long since the last post besides cell phone posts, which are not nearly as tidy as posts from a laptop, no matter how hard I try to type neatly on a cell phone keyboard. Let me list off just a few of the things that have happened recently: The biker church has swelled into a good 40-60 people coming weekly. Videos of the sermons and events are being posted weekly at http:/ www.youtube.com/user/Steelcitybikerchurch/. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Missionary Kid: Sturgis, 2011

http://themissionarykid-spidey.blogspot.com/2011/08/sturgis-2011.html

Monday, August 8, 2011. The much anticipated event has finally arrived: Sturgis Bike Week. Although I never feel like it during the actual week, it is one of my favorite times of year. I always come away from the event with incredible memories, but, as always, I am apprehensive about the event. General Council of the Assemblies of God. So after all the delay we did get to the church in Rapid City. When Dad came with the other trailer, we headed to Sturgis. Hope you like them! View my complete profile.

The Missionary Kid: May 2010

http://themissionarykid-spidey.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 29, 2010. Sorry it took so long to get this information out- it took quite a while to write! Hope it was worth the wait! Faintly I became aware that the alarm was ringing. I drowsily turned it off and looked at my watch. It was Three in the morning. Then I remembered that this was the big day! The rest of the family was getting up as well. We had been waiting for the day of the Easter Bash for so long! The people at the sign-up booth were swamped as people scrambled to get signed in. Th...

The Missionary Disposition

The last time Jesus was with the original 12 apostles he encouraged them, challenged them, and prayed with them. He prayed for himself, for his disciples, and finally for all believers:. 8211; John 17:20-23. The point is obvious, but is the priority? 8220;The world” is increasingly individualistic, narcissistic, and competitive. Isn’t that a hint? This is an old argument, but one that I feel a renewed conviction for because of the priority it was to Jesus:. October 25, 2010 Categories: Uncategorized.

A man has joy in an apt answer, and how delightful is a timely word! Our future before our eyes. Hear that swirling, sucking sound? 160; Yeah, that's us, California.  Here are some salient points from a  very sobering article. It took years for liberalism's redistributive itch to create an income tax so steeply progressive that it prompts the flight from the state of wealth-creators: "Between 1990 and 2007," Voegeli writes, "some 3.4 million more Americans moved from. California from another state.".

A Missionary Life

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Today I found out I could no longer load pictures on my blog unless I decide to pay for more storage or some other such nonsense. As this blog is free I have no desire to pay anything for it! So I quickly went and found a web address nearly identical to this one - just add a "2" on the end! To my new, yet strikingly similar looking blog. Check it out! Tuesday, February 23, 2010. I have these strange toes (and even stranger posts I suppose! Saturday, February 20, 2010. On my ...

The Missionary Life of Amy

Friday, April 4, 2014. The sun was setting during an extremely cloudy evening - I loved seeing it peek through the holes and shine through on the ocean! To the left of the sunset was a storm on the ocean - so cool! Feeding - 1 April. This week's feeding went very well - and we had a great group even though it was school holidays. It was wonderful to have more chairs - the kids were thrilled! Someone took a picture of me - here we are singing a song. My story visual is between my knees. I do love sunsets!

The Missionary Mandate

This Blog "The Missionary Mandate" is written to inspire and motivate both men and women of God to join us in the discovery that our mandate for world evangelization is the whole Bible; not just the Great Commission but the entire biblical revelation. The Missionary Memo

Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Divine Red Lights (and what to do when you're stuck at one). 160;                                                         © Lidian Neeleman. Even a small child knows that a red light means to stop. But what does the word stop. It seems to be such a simple word, but the word stop. Actually has two inferences that are  quite different from each other. On one hand, the word stop. On the other hand, if a father saw his son about to run into the road, he may yell, Stop! Light as a stop.
