Look, the Frankfurt airport looks like every other airport. Dang, I should be better at converting Celsius. I don't understand why we don't have this at home. I'm so happy I'm glowing. I want those socks.

You were quite upset when you found out I was planning on driving you to school, and not letting you ride the bus the first morning. I think the chocolate milk and pancake on a stick made up for it. Erica and her monkeys. Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Suspicious Smells, Day 3. I am now on Day 3 of the game called, "Find the Suspicious Smell.". What is that smell? Put new air freshener in the bathroom. Grandma thinks the toilets need resealed. Your room is the smell. Why does your room smell like a dirty diaper? Zoe: Um, I wiped some boogies on my bed. Mental note, wipe off the side of Zoe's boogie bed. Zoe, sticking out her bottom for dramatic effect: It's probably my tooty bottom. It likes to toot.

Erica and her monkeys. Tuesday, February 28, 2012. The ultimate boy party. I love having a screened in porch. I can send the kids outside, even if it's raining, and close the door (closing the door is imperative.). Robert loves the screened-in porch as well. He loves to turn on the twinkle party lights, turn on all the fans, and turn up the music and have a party. One day, the party took a turn toward all things boy. This was one of the few nights when Jeff came home before sunset. All things Angry Birds.

Sunday, 23 September 2012. Birthday Tea Party fun! What can you do for party fun with your 6year old girl who is friends with 'everyone'? I guess I coudl have contacted the local hall, hired out the bouncy castle, put on a spread, organised the games and the prizes. Hang on. How much would all that cost? Then there are the party bags. And, honestly, she is friends with everyone. In her class of at least 17. I just can't afford all that! The last Party she went to was a Tea Party at a new cafe in town.
