Lenox Life: October 2013
http://jessieeileen.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 06, 2013. Finally the much anticipated number 5 is here and Tegan is so happy to at last be a big girl! She has been waiting for this birthday for months, mostly because she knew that it would be her first party with friends and because she'd get plenty of presents. She chose Super Bounce for her party place. When all was said and done she rated it 10-8 billion on a scale from 1-10. Success! We love you Tegan. Tuesday, October 01, 2013. Sauvie Island and the Beach.
Lenox Life: August 2013

Thursday, August 08, 2013. I feel like I never can get enough pictures to recreate the memory for them later on, but a few pictures were snapped along the way. Temple Square. It was so great to be back there. The visitor center is amazing and they've changed quite a bit since our last visit there. Tegan got to take over Jessie's old bike and she was pleased as punch. Tegan never runs out of things to say to her Grandpa and he is always game for listening. Our niece Macy who always keeps us laughing.
Lenox Life: April 2013

Monday, April 29, 2013. Lazy moments in our yard soaking up the sun. This sweet little face that warms my soul. Big sister reading with little sister. Middle sister swinging with little sister. Another smile that brightens my day. Tom coaching Jessie's soccer team. These two playing together. A clean an organized garage (seriously makes me ecstatic every time I see it). Seeing this as I step out the door for an early morning run! Sunday, April 07, 2013. What's going on with Tegan? What's new with Lainey?
Lenox Life: March 2013
http://jessieeileen.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 11, 2013. We started off with green eggs and ham. We read all the different books, even at the Dr's office (a little multitasking). Did I mention we were sick in our house for a month? I'm worried if I talk anymore about it we will bring the curse of every virus/infection on our home again. Tom made some cute Thing One and Thing Two cupcakes with the girls. It required cotton candy so they were all over that. We also had a few worksheets and coloring pages that the girls worked on.
The Swedish Fish: Hobbit Beach

Sunday, August 2, 2015. It was Ike's first trip to the ocean and he was obviously impressed. It was also the first time in a couple of years that we actually remembered to bring our sand toys. There is nothing like a lovely day on the Oregon coast. And on the way home Rosy barfed. She said she was sorry. As a parent there are so many teaching moments. Yesterday at dinner Rocky said, "Abbey said that she saw a guy with the flag of slavery on his car so she gave him a finger. What does that mean?
The Northwest Southern Girl: Curveball
http://loribustos.blogspot.com/2013/02/curveball.html
The Northwest Southern Girl. Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Life is much the same. Just when I think that life is good and I know what to expect, I get thrown a curveball. Swing-and-a-miss. I thought that we were going to settle down in Oregon and stay here for the long run, but sadly this was not meant to be. Posted by The Northwest Southern Girl. February 22, 2013 at 10:21 AM. Was not expecting that one! I have had friends who live there and have loved it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Northwest Southern Girl. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Things I'll miss in Oregon. As time comes rushing forward I've come to accept the fact that we are moving away from what we know and love. I find myself relishing in the simple things that I have loved about Oregon. 1 Sunny spring bike rides on the river bike path. 2 Colorful blooming rhododendrons and azaleas in the spring. 3 Day trips to the coast. 4 Warm ceder-scented days in Sunriver. 5 The perfect summer day: not too hot and not too cold.
The Northwest Southern Girl: February 2012

The Northwest Southern Girl. Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Olivia was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on February 4, 2012. She was nervous when she got up to sing "When I Am Baptized", with her friend Jada Loganomoce, but Jada reached over and held Olivia's hand throughout the song. It was so sweet! They looked and sounded like little angels! Olivia was also nervous when she stepped into the font, but when she stepped out she said, "Mom, it was so great!

The Northwest Southern Girl: Summer Fun
http://loribustos.blogspot.com/2012/09/summer-fun.html
The Northwest Southern Girl. Sunday, September 30, 2012. So, I haven't blogged much lately. Busy summer, I guess. I didn't stress myself too much, but we had lots and lots of fun. Here's a few of our favorite memories from summer:. Endless days at Amazon Pool: I honestly got a little tired of this, but the kids had fun swimming, tanning and playing in the sand while I talked to friends or read a book. If only for a moment, it turns us back into silly, playful children. We went to the water slides and ate...

Erica and her monkeys
Erica and her monkeys. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. The trip, extremely abbreviated. Day 1- The big culture shift. I went from small town Southern Louisiana funeral, to German owned airline to small Italian airport. We landed 6 hours behind schedule to a double rainbow. (That's right, A DOUBLE RAINBOW). Look, the Frankfurt airport looks like every other airport. Dang, I should be better at converting Celsius. I don't understand why we don't have this at home. I'm so happy I'm glowing. I want those socks.

Monkey School | It's a jungle out there.
It's a jungle out there. October 17, 2011. We hope you have your permission slips signed, because today’s Monkey School is a lesson in sex education. It should be no surprise that popular music has had an awful lot to say on this particular subject, so we decided to let the songs dictate the lesson plan. From a laundry list for role-playing ( Berlin. To automated love enhancement ( Demolition Doll Rods. We look at the (ahem) ins and outs of getting it on.
