Tuesday, April 13, 2010. My girlfriend has been begging me to post for over 6 months now and I had joked I would get around to it at Easter (almost a year after my last post). However, in my defense, I did try to post several times and there are a couple "draft" posts in the queue, but shortly after my last posting, Benjamin started walking and has been non-stop ever since! Liliana did NOT at all prepare me for Hurricane Benjamin! So, hear it goes my post (short and sweet):. Climbing the wall for eggs.

Friday, March 13, 2009. Bye, Bye Binky. At Liliana's 18 month well check, we were told that her beloved binky. Was causing her teeth to move. I had decided that by the end of last year there would be no more binky. Well, that didn't happen. The timing was never right with the holidays and then Liliana got sick. But the more likely reason - Mom wasn't ready for her baby girl to give up one of her last holds on babyhood. I had actually began preparing Lily for several months by only allowing her the binky.

Wednesday, April 22, 2009. We decided to stay in Tucson this year. Liliana was very excited that the Easter Bunny left her a "basket" (aka, a little pink wagon) with some books, bubbles and tools to help Daddy with yard work. The Easter Bunny also hid eggs, fake ones with chocolate inside and real ones, which she nicely threw into her wagon! Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Liliana's room received a minor makeover several days ago because of a major milestone. The 1st two pictures are her room before. And the reason for the new makeover. She's sleeping in her "big" girl bed! She has been in her bed ever since. (Thank you, Jo Jo! A few days later, her room looked like this:. It's very cute watching her climb into bed by herself. And she is adament what she sleeps with. She must have. Now only if I could find a friend of hers who is potty trained.

Saturday, June 21, 2008. Liliana gets her First Haircut. Today, Liliana got her first haircut! Unless I pulled her hair back in barrettes or put it in pigtails, it was constantly in her face. And even then, that didn't always work. When she started trying to blow her bangs out of her face, I decided it was time to get them cut! I took her to my hairdresser, Carlos, and she did so good! She sat on Daddy's lap, didn't cry and didn't squirm - too much! Just a little off the top, please! I can see again!
