We have had such wonderful weekend weather here in pensacola. every weekend we have ventured out to a new beach and/or pool to take in the sun. jason usually spends the first 1/2 hour in the water hunting for specimens for his salt water tanks at school. today he hit the jackpot.a crab about the size of my palm. It amazes (and saddens) me that so many of my students haven't been to a DQ. 2 thumbs-up for DQ. The turtles loved benjamin's hot dog bun.

Lauren likes to make her way down all of the stairs, her latest achievement which she's pretty proud of. she also likes to visit other female pool guests and chat it up ;-). Without a doubt, benjamin's favorite poolside activity is squirting these, his beloved "shampoos". Borrowing my magazine during a short break. We also did a little watercolor painting in the sunshine.

Bobby nesha livia sophia copper. July 25, 2011. A sunday in the summer. On sunday the withers family packed up a picnic and headed to st. paul to the zoo. It was a lovely day (no humidity - finally! We started our day at the zoo, followed by a ride on the Cafesjian's Carousel. Afterwards we had a picnic before heading to Como Park for some rides. After a short trip in the vehicle, we decided to catch a ride on the Excelsior Trolley. It was so cool! Hanging out at the "sparky the seal" show. July 20, 2011.

We tried out the "Gaylord Aquatic Center" and it was AWESOME! The girls loved all the water slides, the climbing wall, the multiple diving boards, and of course, THE WATER! It was a treat to have such a beautiful day to spend with my parents and our family. We were also able to take one more pin off of our summer bucket and add it to the middle.t. June 24, 2012.

Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Hello are you out there? It's been forever since I have updated this blog and let me tell you, a lot has happened. 1 In Feb. Tollef and I took a vacation sans kiddos to Mexico. It was a much needed break and we had a lot of fun. 2 March brought flooding to our area and inspite of our efforts to sandbag, our home flooded. We had about 4.5 feet of water in the basement. We are in the process of re-doing the basement now. 5 The girls took nightly swimming lessons for two weeks.
