Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Hello are you out there? It's been forever since I have updated this blog and let me tell you, a lot has happened. 1 In Feb. Tollef and I took a vacation sans kiddos to Mexico. It was a much needed break and we had a lot of fun. 2 March brought flooding to our area and inspite of our efforts to sandbag, our home flooded. We had about 4.5 feet of water in the basement. We are in the process of re-doing the basement now. 5 The girls took nightly swimming lessons for two weeks.

Saturday, October 18, 2008. I'm a little crazy. Well, this morning Fleet Farm toyland opened at 7am, so I got up and went shopping with one of my friends. We had a great time and I got all all my Christmas shopping done for my kids. What makes me a little crazy is the fact that I was waiting outside in really cold weather waiting for the store to open.and then I loaded up one and half carts full of toys. Thursday, December 11, 2008. After ice cream (yes, I followed through with my promise) we decorated the Christmas tree and then the kids headed off to bed. Our other news is that Jenny will be here next week. It sounds like Tollef will be picking her up in Chicago on Tuesday.she sounds excited to come. She should be here until the first weekend in Jan. We are excited to take some pictures of the kids for our Christmas cards that hopefully will be sent before Christmas this year :).

Tuesday, June 3, 2008. On another note, Jenny is here. She arrived the Thursday before Memorial Day. We are really enjoying having her around. She started soccer last night and will start swimming lessons tonight. We are in for a busy summer. Sunday afternoon, we loaded up the kids and headed out to the lake. Thursday, September 4, 2008. It can't be fall already. But it sure feels like it. The past few nights we've had to wear sweathirts on our nightly walk. I'm not sure the kids really understand what that means but I know they would be disappointed if they understood it was the end of swimsuit weather. Dan and I attend a Management Christmas Party for his work, we also attend an employee party he throws for his employees. The Management one is always at the Holiday Inn with a dinner and drinks. We have a fun time and enjoy the company of some great people. It is a chance for Dan and I to get dressed up too.

The kids last day of school was a warm spring day, and it was complete with bringing your bikes to school and a visit from the ice cream truck. The kids' preschool is at our church, at the entrance of Lindenwood Park. The preschool class rode their bikes around the big fountain and enjoyed the beautiful day. Goodbye Preschool, Hello Kindergarten :).
