Reviews - MikeR

The World Goes Round. December 5th, 2011. Reviews are starting to come in. I shared this one on Facebook because it's a rave and fairly well written. The infamous Kedar Adour, MD. Another gem from the Bay Area's worst writer (and there's stiff competition for that title). From someone who thinks that Liliom. Why does my head hurt so much? Oh yeah, from smashing it into my desk. If I may be so bold, Three Sisters. Is not a show for the BWW crowd (i.e., it's not Wicked. 2011-12-05 04:57 pm (UTC).

Class Three - MikeR
http://mprmike.livejournal.com/285621.html
The World Goes Round. September 24th, 2011. Today's class was fun, although it was hampered a bit by three absences (one sent word that she was sick, but two just didn't show up). We worked the first half on acting with intent, then the second half on establishing a sense of place. I got to improv a scene in the first half, which was fun, although a little weird. Whose line is it anyway? 2011-09-25 02:06 pm (UTC). Or did everyone else get something a little bit different? It's always fun to see what othe...

Whatever Happened to Class? - MikeR
http://mprmike.livejournal.com/284839.html
The World Goes Round. Whatever Happened to Class? September 12th, 2011. See what I did there? So I started an acting class at ACT on Saturday. I'm happy that I'm doing it, and I'm looking forward to what's to come, but the first class was just. alright. That said, I like the teacher, he's got a ton of experience, and I trust that he knows where he's going and it'll all be good and helpful in the end. I don't feel like going back and checking. 2011-09-12 06:46 pm (UTC). 2011-09-12 06:54 pm (UTC). Yeah, I ...

More Three Sisters. Three More Sisters? I don't know... something... - MikeR
http://mprmike.livejournal.com/287442.html
The World Goes Round. More Three Sisters. Three More Sisters? I don't know. something. November 14th, 2011. Cross-posting from my awesome. Here are a couple more songs from Three Sisters. Both of which I really like (for very different reasons). When I've Got The Moon (Three Sisters). First is "When I've Got the Moon" (sung in this recording by Adam Grupper). This was actually written for a proposed Nelson Eddy/Jeanette MacDonald film to be called Champagne and Orchids. Keep Smiling (Three Sisters).
