Friday, November 25, 2011. Two Saturdays ago MJ and I were standing in the kitchen in the morning trying to come up with a fun, out-of-the-house plan for the day. We decided on the zoo, Batu Secret Zoo, to be exact. Not sure why 'Secret' made it into the name but it was a blast. We called the Kleins and they ended up coming also. Yay for a fun, spontaneous husband and friends! Those, my friend, are bats. Eek! I didn't get as close as Pete did, brave soul. The twins looking a little tired. Come on, people!

Sunday, April 24, 2011. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for giving your life for us! Here are some family pics from our Easter here in Indonesia. Maya was smiling in all three! Well, not really.Uncle Dave was the one taking the pictures. No wonder. Ummmcould she be ANY cuter? She became very involved and interested in this stick. Couldn't put it down for about 10 minutes. Here she is playing with some other kid's Spiderman action figure during the service. Is there a tomboy deep within? Me trying to keep up.

Monday, November 29, 2010. Goodbye, Eric and Shannon. Nonetheless, it has been a crazy week full of packing, selling their things, hugs, tears, and gratefulness for the time we had together in Java. Jesus bless you, Eric, Shan, and Alyosha! So glad you're finally able to be a family! Shopping at TP in Surabaya. These 2 have been friends for something like a decade. Buying some cute baby clothes for Alyosha! Eric looks so tall next to all of us! One last pic at the airport. We will miss you!

Fortunately there is now a direct flight from our city straight to Bali.so we took advantage of the cheap flight and took a family vacation to Bali! We bought 3 round trip tickets for less than $100! Here are some pictures of the fun. Dinner by the beach. Lots of yummy food in Bali! Building sand castles with Daddy. At our favorite Italian restaurant. We went there 3 out of the 5 days we were there :). Love the look on her face! But MJ seems amused.
