Sunday, June 17, 2012. I am here in Piura, Peru safe and sound. Things are going well here and I know that it will be a great summer. I am not going to download any pictures while I am here, so be prepared for a lot of pictures when I come back! Here are some interesting things about Piura. It is extremely dusty= dirt is everywhere! You can´t flush the toilet paper down the toilet, you have to throw it away in the trashcan. Most of the roofs here are tin roofs. There are hardly any side walks to walk on.
