Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Last day of Vacation. Our last day had to come some time… we spent the morning relaxing and then went out on the beach for the whole day. It was a glorious day! That night we went to hear Greg Russel, funny funny guy! It was a nice week, and it was sad to go, but all good things must come to an end. Can’t wait until our beach vacation next year! Thursday, January 19, 2012. The higher up the mountain we went the more and more snow we saw. It was beautiful J We parked and had a nice picnic. We didn’t do any hiking this time around, but we did enjoy the view and being outside. I love this picture, 2 seasons in one. When we got home we had the most delicious dinner. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. After a yummy dinner we were ready for dessert! The Cupcake shop on Glenwood has every kind of cupcake you can ask for so it made for an easy choice on where to find something sweet! Layla had strawberry and Caroline had chocolate. When it was time to go, Layla and Caroline gave a big hug. I think they are really starting to figure out they are pre destined BFF’s! One more . So, since it was still warm enough last Saturday, I decided we should have a beach day. After all, it could be the last until next year! It was icing on the cake that my parents came down for the day to join us. We packed up, all crammed into our car, and set out to enjoy one last hoorah in the sand. Saturday, May 22, 2010. My baby boy turned 9 months old yesterday. 3/4 of the way to a year already! Time has just flown by since August 21, 2009! His little personality seems to emerge more and more each day. That easy-going, laid-back baby has turned into a wide open, loud, fast-moving, busy little guy! What else is going on in Austin's little world? He goes for his 9 month check up next Tuesday, but I'm going to guess he's 23 pounds and 31 inches- we'll see if I'm right!
