To line the tin. 2 packets of biscuits. 1 package of pie crust. 1 can of peaches in syrup (keep half of the syrup aside). 1,5 dl milk. 1 tablespoon of lemon or orange juice. 2 tablespoons of peach jam. Grind the biscuits and add the butter. Knead and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Line the pie tin and bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Allow to cool. Slice the peaches in thin pieces. 2 teaspoons baking powder. Grind of 1 orange. Preheat the oven (180ºC). Mix sugar with the flour and the baking powder. Add the orange grind, youghurt, milk, egg and oil. Gently fold in the berries and pour into paper cups or buttered muffin tins. 2 tsp baking powder. 125 gr softened butter. 2, dl sugar. In bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and the salt. In separate bowl, cream butter with sugar; beat in eggs one at a time. Gradually stir in the milk. 3 cups of milk. 100 gr softened butter.

1 chocolate bar (200gr). 100 gr thickly ground walnuts. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 2 tablespoons powdered chocolate. Preheat the oven at 180ºC. Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt it over a bain-marie with the butter. Alternatively, you can do this in the microwave, but remember that whatever container you use will be very hot. Beat the eggs with the sugar until creamy and then add the chocolate. Keep mixing and add the flour, powdered chocolate, baking powder and walnuts. Lara's Cake (no eggs).

This is a very easy recipe for fondant. The traditional ones usually include ingredients that we can't find in portugal, like corn syrup. 250 gr icing sugar. 1 tbsp. softened butter. 1 tbsp. milk. Compota de Frutos Silvestres. 750 gr de frutos silvestres congelados. 250 gr de açúcar. Sumo de meio limão. 1 pau de canela. 1 cálice de vinho do Porto. Num tacho deite os frutos silvestres, regue com o vinho do Porto e cubra com o açúcar. Leve ao lume moderado até levantar fervura, e deite o pau de canela. Deixe continuar a ferver, mas agora em lume brando, mexendo de vez em quando. Ao fim de 30 minutos tire o pau de canela e junte o sumo de limão. Retire do fogão e encha frascos de vidro escaldados.
