Radioactive Maple Syrup

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. When I was a kid time moved very slowly. I remember thinking that one year would never end; it was 1979. I couldn't wait to change it to an 80. I think it was so long for me because that was the year I learned how to read a calender. I'm turning 38 this year and not looking forward to the inevitable. Hope that Zombie Apocalypse. Hits before I start wearing Bermuda shorts, striped Tube Socks with Mesh shoes and explaining to my eldest daughter. Why I'm hip, we coo, Word! I work ...

Radioactive Maple Syrup: No time to Post

http://www.theradioactivemaple.blogspot.com/2009/07/no-time-to-post.html

Tuesday, July 21, 2009. No time to Post. So busy these days no time to post. Here is some food for thought; more on to come on this topic. Misrepresentation of statistics and denial of historically proven facts to blame the legal firearm owner for the government's inability to eradicate crime, and to simultaneously justify the disarmament of the public which is the common denominator of all oppressive regimes. Radioactive Maple Syrup: Glock Glock........ Who's there?

http://www.theradioactivemaple.blogspot.com/2009/11/glock-glock-whos-there.html

Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Glock Glock. Who's there? I have just acquired a new pistol; a .40cal Glock 22 and It came with 4 mags and a holster. As this is my first .40cal I was unsure what to expect in the way of performance, so to test it properly I picked up two boxes (100 rounds) of. American Eagle .40 Cal 165 Grain FMJ. The targets we used were sketched pictures of a mans head, with a tin cup balanced on his hat on an 11"x 14" paper. I opted to use the 25m outdoor range at my club. Some resources...

Radioactive Maple Syrup: When the SHTF

http://www.theradioactivemaple.blogspot.com/2009/07/when-shtf.html

Sunday, July 26, 2009. This is the way the world ends. This is the way the world ends. This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but with a whimper. I try an not buy into the paranoia that grips so many these days. Most recently the H1N1 flue pandemic, near collapse of the American Financial Machine (real estate and automotive industry bailouts) Blackouts and the upcoming. Global food shortage. It's hard for me not to think of what might come to pass in the near future. Woke up that morning to all ...

FeyRhi's Retreat: Last Minute Stocking Stuffers!! Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spas are my favourite pick!

http://feyrhi.blogspot.com/2013/12/last-minute-stocking-stuffers.html

Monday, December 23, 2013. Last Minute Stocking Stuffers! Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spas are my favourite pick! You have one day left to fill those stockings but what do you get? Here are a few fail safe ideas that will get them stuffed :) Lets face it sometimes we want to get as much in there as possible and the bigger the better to fill it. Think of who it's for and what they like. Have a knitter to buy for? Maybe not but knitters love to touch and feel decadent yarns. What about your stressed out partner?

FeyRhi's Retreat: Tis the season...

http://feyrhi.blogspot.com/2009/12/tis-season.html

Saturday, December 12, 2009. It's been almost 4 months since I posted something here. To be honest I really didn't have anything to say. Life went up. little ups and downs here and there, but really nothing that I thought would be blog worthy. The longer time went by the more I thought a post should be significant. I wish I hadn't thought that. Today, something terrible happened. I've carried it around all day a heavy weight on my soul that tarnished this season for me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Nant-y-glo Needles: May 2012

http://nant-y-gloneedles.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 16, 2012. 10,918 stitches later. Captain Jack Sparrow is finished. I have packed my yarn scale or I could have calculated how much yarn I actually used. I went into the second ball of black and almost finished the ball of dark blue. There is quite a lot left on the other balls. He will be a pillow cover after we move. I just packed him away in his project box for the time being. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). How we came to be here. The Welshwomen who came before. Reindeer...

Nant-y-glo Needles: March 2012

http://nant-y-gloneedles.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Saturday, March 24, 2012. Wisp of a cardigan. This is merino and silk lace dyed by the KnitterMan, Knitivity. Gorgeous stuff and not one knot in a thousand yards. Very impressed. It just so happens that it is the same colour as my VW beetle. So what's not to love? I am knitting the Kid Seta cardigan from Cascade yarns. My apologies to Cascade for not using their lace weight as the pattern was a free download. Go Here. My sweet man will be accompanying me to Illinois and THAT is a testimony of devotion!
