Joker | The Reading Challenges Blog

https://thereadingchallenges.wordpress.com/2009/07/31/joker

The Reading Challenges Blog. Challenges, lists and reading–Oh My! Joker by Brian Azzarello. While the story in this was pretty good (there’s no denying that Brian Azzarello is a great writer), I was completely blown away by the art. I think that Lee Bermejo. Has just earned a special place in my list of favorite comic book artists (which would be second, of course….I kind of have a long running thing for Ben Templesmith. The Reading Challenges Blog. Challenges, lists and reading–Oh My! Lio: Happiness is a Squishy Cephalopod. Lio: Happiness is a Squishy Cephalopod by Mark Tatulli. Other than a comic strip here and there, I’d never really read a lot of Lio. I can’t believe how much I’ve been missing out! A mischievous litte kid with a penchant for mayhem, monsters and robots? What more could I ask for? Here is just a wonderful sample:. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0. From your own site.

Reading Challenges | Project Brandi

https://projectbrandi.wordpress.com/reading-challenges

Taking time for me…. One of my never ending quests is to add more variety to my reading. As a youth and teen services librarian, I do read a lot. However, I quickly seem to fall into ruts, reading things just for work or just for the book award committee that I am on. “Grown-up books” (as I’ve come to call them) just seem to end up by the wayside. This is just what I’ve been looking for. Challenges. Lists. What could be better? So follow the way there. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

The Reading Chameleon

Book reviews and other Book stuff. Tuesday, June 28, 2016. So, I took a hiatus. I kind of took a blogging break with all the stuff that has come up in the last few months. Doesn't mean I stopped reading all together. As a matter of fact I read a bunch of books. Mostly those that had to do with linguistics. Lets kick off my return with a book called Wordcrimes: Solving Crime Through Forensic Linguistics by John Olsson. A great nonfiction book, bit boring if you don't have an interest in this type of stuff...
