Well the party had to end on sometime - and sometime was 5:30 Thursday morning but he was a trouper he got up and packed up his Nintendo DS, and his Hank the Cow Dog book and we were at the hospital at 6:30. So glad he's doing well; what a great pre-surgery party! Okay, Missy . . . please give your sweet mom a HUGE hug for me next time you see her! Oh, how I miss her . . . all of you!

While we were there we went to the Derby water park, the zoo, a learning museum called Exploration Station where the kids got to do a lot of hands on learning- along with Sean. One night we even went on a double date to dinner and a movie. We had a great time and it was good to be with family. Gail and Ken showed us all the sights to see and the places to eat when you were in Wichita, we had a great time on our trip. I love the picture of Audrey in the bubble. Too cool!

We're so excited to see the progress.We've decided on Ebony dark stain for two reason - we both love dark floors and the darker stain will hide more of the 125 years of imperfections. So now that the floors are underway, we're getting to the point where we need to make some decisions for the staircase. There are several directions we're leaning towards as far as paint/stain color.
