Life's Illustrations: Days 9-12: Jet Lag
http://lifeillustrations.blogspot.com/2011/02/days-9-12-jet-lag.html
Pictures, drawings, and other visualizations of my life. Sunday, February 13, 2011. Days 9-12: Jet Lag. 65279;Days 9 and 10 were huge travel days (Thursday and Friday). My first flight from SFO got delayed due to a mechanical failure, so I had to spend the night in Denver. This sounds great until you realize that there's a blizzard and you're getting in at 9-10 PM. On the bright side, I was in Denver! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). How can I tell," said the man, "that the past isn't a fiction design...

Keeping Up With Myself
http://machiavellianmusings.blogspot.com/2010/12/when-i-get-chance-i-like-to-volunteer.html
Keeping Up With Myself. Thursday, December 16, 2010. When I get the chance, I like to volunteer with high school and younger kids and try to get them interested in careers in math and science. To this end, here is my list of awesome things about engineering/math/science:. 1 Engineers often get to wear jeans to work. 2 If you are a female engineer, there is never a line for a bathroom. 3 If you go into math and science, people will always think you're smart. 7 Engineers have the funniest jokes.*. Disclaim...

The Metrics of Me: To Be Continued
http://metricsofme.blogspot.com/2010/07/to-be-continued.html
Friday, July 16, 2010. Click to say goodbye. My father says it takes 21 days to form a habit. A habit however is quite different than a change. I can't really say how many days it took to change me, only that I exited this process different. This isn't goodbye, it's see you later. I'm still blogging on the other site. Friday, July 16, 2010. Life's Illustrations: December 2010
http://lifeillustrations.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Pictures, drawings, and other visualizations of my life. Saturday, December 25, 2010. Days 24-27: Time at Home. When I arrived in Iron Mountain my Grandpa wasn't home, so I took a long walk to my place of Zen. Sometimes communing with nature has a unique way of putting me at ease. Once I got back, I spent all day with Grandpa including helping him load up his trailer with firewood and filling up his furnace. We also lit a big bonfire. Mwahahaha! Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Days 20-23: Short and Sweet.

Hell or Glory, I Don't Want Anything In Between: I can see right through your eyes
http://youwantedthemusic.blogspot.com/2012/05/i-can-see-right-through-your-eyes.html
Hell or Glory, I Don't Want Anything In Between. Without music, life would be a mistake." - Nietzsche. I can see right through your eyes. Since all my favorite shows are officially on hiatus until September, I could get out and do new things.or I could stay in under the guise of being somewhat of a day sleeper and find new fun shows to watch. Maybe a mix of both. Same Thing We Do Everyday Pinky by Broadway and Craig Owens (of Chiodos). As It Seems by Lily Kershaw. Bali Hotes and Resorts. A PLACE TO BUY.

KARMATH (2009): The Coma Child Incident
http://karmath2009.blogspot.com/2009/07/coma-child-incident.html
Thursday, July 30, 2009. The Coma Child Incident. I'm a fucking jerk when it comes to kids. More precisely, I terrorize them if they don't do what they're supposed to do. One of my ongoing "-isms" at the school is to threaten to call a doctor if the kids are crying due to minor scrapes, blisters, little bumps to the noggin'. I usually keep a cell phone in my pocket while at work to check the time periodically, take a few snapshots of something cute, etc. Today, I actually called the doctor on a kid.

KARMATH (2009): Casualties of War
http://karmath2009.blogspot.com/2009/03/casualties-of-war.html
Friday, March 6, 2009. Picture this: you're a lifeguard. Your job is to save and protect anyone from being harmed within a designated perimeter dealing with aqueous substances, most likely water (even though pools might technically be called "Chemical Concoction Holes"). On your daily routine, you're sitting in your high chair, sunglasses in place, bathing suit on, nose caked in sunscreen. Your eyes are buried within your binoculars. Let him drown," they say. You look at them in shock. "What? It's not yo...

KARMATH (2009): Pi
http://karmath2009.blogspot.com/2009/01/pi.html
Tuesday, January 6, 2009. It's Tuesday, and I'm back at the daily grind. Day job and Patch. While at the Montessori school this morning, I was making tea in the microwave next to the snack table in my classroom. One kid was sitting there wolfing down his breakfast eggs and jelly toast. While eating, he said "Peter, did you know you can eat toast with jelly on it? Oh yeah, I do it all the time! With extreme jubilation, he dropped the fork and spit out bits of egg while he yelled, "ME TOO! He got up to was...
