The Whittle Family: April 2010
http://kathywhittle.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 9, 2010. Playing Catchup - January 2010. January 2: Justin and Steph's Open House. This was held at our home, which was a little stressful, but we were so pleased with how everything turned out. Since it was Christmastime, I chose to keep the Christmas theme. We had a huge turnout of friends and family to celebrate with Justin and Steph. Emily enjoying some treats. I liked it so well, I will most likely keep the photo theme and put family photos on the tree for next Christmas. It's been 4 m...

The Whittle Family: Surprise Breakfast
http://kathywhittle.blogspot.com/2009/11/surprise-breakfast.html
Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Blueberry bagel w/cream cheese; orange juice smoothy. Made with orange juice and berry yogurt mixed together. She had made breakfast for me! Notice the creative "coasters" under the mugs (paper towels). It's hard to see, but she made little name cards for each of us, Mom's Place and Emily's Place, written in her version of cursive (which is actually pretty good! So thank you to her sweet siblings who have shown her such a great example! Kathy and Dave Whittle. Mom and Dad Danes.

Monday, December 7, 2009. 25th Annual Gingerbread House Decorating. I was so glad that in the hustle and bustle of getting ready for Christmas and the wedding at the same time we were still able to get together and continue the tradition! We have loved this tradition and have so many fond memories from it. We wished Jordan, Andrew and Starrie, and Nicia and Joe could have been with us! Kathy and Dave Whittle. Wish we were there too! The houses all looked great! December 8, 2009 at 7:34 AM.

The Whittle Family: July 2009
http://kathywhittle.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 2, 2009. It has been a little over a year, near the 1-year mark of Michael's passing, that my sisters came and spent a weekend with us, purchasing plants and planting a memory garden. I thought I'd share how well the plants are blooming. I love seeing their beauty each time I step out my door or drive up to our home, and the daisies are my favorite! Thank you again, Karen and Annette (and my cousin Allison) for your labor of love in honor of Michael. Kathy and Dave Whittle.

Friday, March 20, 2009. I (Nicia) was finally able to get a hold of Caitlin, Kathy, and my dad. They are doing great! I will let Kathy report on all the wonderful things they have been able to see and do, and what blessings they have be given while out there. I just wanted to let everyone know that they are doing well. Kathy and my dad were able to meet Caitlin at the temple, and they were able to do a session together. Anyway, Caitlin looks great! Monday, February 23, 2009. A Moment in History. Okay, for those of you who haven't been to our home, you might not understand why this is a big deal to me. But for those of you who have been here and have seen our garage in the past, take a good look because THIS is a moment in history! For the first time since we've moved here, (almost 9 years ago) there is enough space in our garage to park two small cars! Kathy and Dave Whittle. Saturday, February 21, 2009. Getting ready for the valentine exchange.
