http://meetthedavis.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 3, 2011. More fun in 2011.sort of. For Adam's birthday this year the boys and I made him a very different kind of cake. We made three different kinds of cake balls which we then dipped in chocolate, white chocolate, and vanilla flavored frosting. then we loaded on the candles! The boys thought it was tons of fun and in the end, I'm not sure if it was more for Adam or the boys. =0). For one of his gifts we surprised him with ski tickets to Mnt. And a two night stay in SunRiver. Exhibit that ...

Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Meet our newest pet, Chuck. Neither Mickey nor I have any willpower when it comes to animals, so when we saw this bunny at our Farmer's Market it was inevitable that we would get him. We chose this one over the babies because he's full grown (so he won't get any bigger, yay! Kareli loves touching his fur. This is why we don't let Kareli hold him unsupervised: most bunnies don't like head locks and getting their ears chewed off. Katie, Mickey, Kayin and Kareli. I actually have tw...

http://theestudillos.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Tragedy in the house. It's heartbreaking, but these two poor children were drinking alcohol and got in a car crash (according to reliable sources. them). Both ended up with serious boo-boos that required a full day of doctoring. Luckily Dad has a medical degree (or at least the supplies to do something; just as good, right? And was able to fix them. Oh, the poor babies! Katie, Mickey, Kayin and Kareli. Updates on my life! Lucky dog, I'm so jealous! How cute is that? We had a ton o...

The Estudillo's: August 2011
http://theestudillos.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 7, 2011. Kayin had explorational ear surgery on July 8th to try to find out why his right ear is deaf. It was a big event but Kayin did absolutely wonderful. Luckily the Strommers in Portland watched Kareli for me the whole time (over 8 hours! So I was able to focus entirely on him. That helped a lot. As soon as I got close to him he put me in a head lock and refused to let go, so terrified that I'd leave him again. I just stayed there and soothed him until he calmed down and fell back...

Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Kayin and Kareli both climbed their first tree while we were at a cute little duck pond, much to Kayin's delight. He's been asking to climb a tree for ages, and this one was perfect for them both. Can we go play? Crazy boy. :). We also went to Medieval Times, which was AWESOME! This was the announcer for the whole evening and had parts in the play; he was really funny and got everyone super excited. Here's our fancy kids, all dressed up for the party. Kayin was so proud of h...

Saturday, November 14, 2009. I couldn't resist adding these pictures. Scanners are so much fun. This is Mickey after his appendectamy in 2004. A nice member family looked after him in the hospital and emailed it to me. I was recently scannning in some of his old photgraphs and found the one below; isn't that neat? I love the smiles. This is Mickey and his sister Elizabeth. This is his niece Crystal. Doesn't she look like Kareli? Mickey as a baby. He looks like Kareli too. :0). See you in a week, right?

Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Seth was entertaining Laina for me while I got ready in the bathroom. He came running in with a little revelation to share with me. Seth: I thought Laina was stinky but she wasn't - it was ME! Mom: How did you know it was you? Seth: Because I smelled my smell and smelled it was me. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Lainey's first few days at home. Every moment I had my mom here and just snuggled with my baby. There are few things on this earth more sweet than a newborn. It won't be l...
