Monday, November 4, 2013. Lou Reed pushed against everything. I realized the depth of their connection. I never saw Lou Reed in Blairstown, NJ (where I moved to after my time in NYC) but understood that he lived there for a while. Strange for anyone to land there from NYC, but it "worked for me" and I guess for Reed-for a time, anyway. She screamed in that heavy accent).and give her a modicum of respect. Had a greg inspired day in the studio yesterday, with ideas flying around the room like wayward birds (I used to have those and bats that lost their way in my NJ studio-very difficult to catch, BTW). Sunday, May 31, 2015. I just unearthed about 200-or is it 300? Paintings on paper from the period of about six months before I was out of my house (and first marriage) till the time after my folks died. Lotsa work, all "off topic" in the sense that this stuff little resembles my sculptural work from the time.
