A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY. The original version of The Shack was built around 1977 (we can't remember the exact date as it was so long ago). It was originally built as a small hut to provide a place to sleep on fishing and hunting expeditions. You don't really think we are going to give away the location, do you? The greatest asset of our shack is its remote location. If you have stumbled on it by accident, kudos to you, but if you have yet to experience it yourself - too bad! Supposedly in order for us to keep our shack (which has actually been there longer than Forestry Tas have owned the land). If you have been able to visit our shack and enjoy it's charm, we thank you for looking after the place and leaving it tidy on your departure.
