Feet Stained Red: June 2012
http://sauniers.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Red dirt is everywhere in Sierra Leone. It covers your house, your clothes, and especially the bottom of your feet. My feet have walked the dusty red streets of Sierra Leone and I will never be the same again. Monday, June 04, 2012. I wrote this in my journal the other day. It was a profound moment and I wanted to share. It's funny, you think that when you are a "missionary" that it must automatically mean that you rely on God. Ha! Posted by Sarah Saunier. The Kennett's Krazy Life: K Baby Dedication
http://krazykennetts.blogspot.com/2013/09/k-baby-dedication.html
Saturday, September 28, 2013. In June, we did Khloe’s baby dedication at church. Baby/Child dedication is just a special time when parents come before their church family with a desire to say that we will raise our child up to know God and serve Him, that we want to thank God for entrusting this precious life to us and that we want to dedicate this child to Him. We pray that Khloe will love God with her whole heart all the days of her life! Rachel and I took the family pics of each other’s families.

Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Summer Vacation Part 1. Back in June, we went on vacation for about 12 days. It was such a wonderful time! We took a road trip down South to visit family and do some fun sightseeing as well. It had been years since we’d been to visit family and it was a good chance for everyone to get to meet Khloe too! Here’s some pics of the FUN! Here’s me and the kiddos with my grandparents before we left. I’m thankful they invited us to spend some time with them! What a fun day! Super Easy...

Sunday, June 30, 2013. Day 6 Part 2 and Day 7. We didn’t have a bathtub in our hotel room in Shanghai. We knew she’d never had a real bath in a tub before, so we figured we could improvise :). At the end of the sightseeing day we decided she needed as much of a “real” bath as we could give her. She was very shy about it at first, but within a couple minutes, she was putting her hands under the running water and seemed really mesmerized by the whole experience! Driving up to the orphanage. We had so much ...

Journey to Africa: Gotcha Day-One Year Later
http://thefietfamily.blogspot.com/2014/05/gotcha-day-one-year-later.html
Sunday, May 11, 2014. Gotcha Day-One Year Later. It's been a silent year on our blog. Many times I sat down to start a post only to get called away to tend to a child or give up writing because the words couldn't do justice to what we were living. We're in a very different place now and I want to try a do better about blogging. A few weeks after we arrived home, we all began thinking about planning for life as a soon to be family of five! One year later we can hardly believe how much has changed. Not...

http://thefietfamily.blogspot.com/2013/04/case-cleared.html
Wednesday, April 17, 2013. It's become our habit to check our email first thing in the morning to see if we got any updates from the U.S.Embassy in Ethiopia. The first time I checked this morning there was nothing. When I got to work, I decided to check again just for fun. Not only did we have an email, but our case has been cleared! In just over a week our case passed! We were praying for fast, but this is CRAZY fast. Just a few more weeks and our kids will HOME! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
