Saturday, May 16, 2015. Opening tomorrow, May 17th and running through mid July, this year's edition of the annual spring show, Modern Marine Masters. Will take place at The Maritime Gallery at Connecticut's Mystic Seaport. One of my works is included in this fine assemblage of works by some of the worlds most esteemed marine artists. A great place to visit on any occasion, doubly so during one of the gallery's major annual art events. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Maryland, United States.

Work In Progress - From the Studio of Kelly Singleton: May 2014
http://kellysingleton.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 11, 2014. Slowly making progress on the bison painting. This is where I left off on it yesterday. I spent most of the day working on it refining the grasses mostly. There's A LOT of grass in this painting! I am trying to say "grass" without painting every single blade of it. I am squinting trying to find shapes in the grass (if that makes any sense) and then painting these shapes and only pulling out some highlighted ones. Seems to be working. So what's left to do?
