Wednesday, February 12, 2014. I thought I would bake a batch of muffins before the worst of this storm hits Georgia! I love this recipe for corn muffins - this time I added blackberries. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 cup fine-ground, whole-grain yellow cornmeal. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1 tsp baking soda. 8 Tb (one stick) unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup of berries. 1 Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray (paper liners do not work well with this recipe. We love you Seamus.

While Jason played at Festa Italiana, I got to watch our nephew, Sean, while Meghan and Bob went to Meghan's 20-year reunion for Waukesha South. We met Jason's sister and family down at Apple Hollar off I-94 the weekend before Halloween. My camera had some condensation on it so the pictures are fuzzy. It was a cold day, but a nice time spent with family. Our nephew is so stinkin' cute! They're growing up way too fast.
