Fadley Living: July 2012
http://fadleyliving.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 13, 2012. My diy gazing ball project began with this. Finding a broken mirror, however, proved to be a challenge in itself! Nippers designed for nipping glass. The nipper, an earlier addition to my tool box, was a most necessary tool for the project. It resides in the landscape among the flowers. All in all it was a fun first time learning experience. Thursday, July 5, 2012. Were numerous displays all around. With drought conditions the past two years, there. I think I need to study night ti...

Reflections from Buffalo Creek: January 2013
http://reflectionsfrombuffalocreek.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Reflections from Buffalo Creek. Saturday, January 19, 2013. She lies in state. The watchers wrap around her bed. Spill over and fill the house,. An entourage to escort the faithful one. To the celebration on the other side. They wait as time drags his feet. To give them moments of gold. Murmers rise and fall. In rhythm with her breathing. And every word is captured. In buckets of tears. And gales of laughter. As they text, crochet, pace,. Work online, eat, pray,. Hold her hand, sleep. As she breathes on.

Reflections from Buffalo Creek. Saturday, July 20, 2013. Grief is a fickle fellow. He pays his visits. Today I saw your picture. And my heart cried out in pain. You and I were young again. Always and forever friends. I saw our time together. I thought of what I'd say. If only I could reach you. Surely not for you I weep. But for the love so sorely missed. For all that might have been. I grieve, but not in vain. For the One who bore my griefs. Takes every tear unto Himself. Gives me comfort, hope and peace.

Reflections from Buffalo Creek: Awaiting
http://reflectionsfrombuffalocreek.blogspot.com/2015/04/awaiting.html
Reflections from Buffalo Creek. Saturday, April 18, 2015. Spring blew open winter's door. Snatched the snowy blanket from his bed. Released the rivers from their icy cells. Danced her way through trees. As she whistled for the birds. To call them from the south. Tis futile to resist," she laughed. And calmly knelt to whisper. To the likes of bluebell. Aroused by her embrace. The peepers in the marsh. Welcomed her with fervent songs. She skipped across my lawn. Leaving kaboodles of yellow dandys.

Fadley Living: My zinnia experience
http://fadleyliving.blogspot.com/2012/09/my-zinnia-experience.html
Tuesday, September 4, 2012. A must repeat again this year experience. But I goofed! It was a crazy mild winter, and early spring. Over taken with spring fever, I made the mistake of setting them out too soon. :( .there were only two survivors, plus a volunteer from last year. I resolved to be content with the three plants. They turned out be a very rich vibrant red. Beautiful to behold at all stages of development. And a great long lasting cut flower to be enjoyed indoors. October 10, 2012 at 4:36 PM.

Sunday, August 26, 2012. Recent outing to wonderful West Virginia. I like country road outings! Roads that wind, and twist about,.and I especially like to travel on mountain roads. Recently, Daryl and I enjoyed such an outing to Black Water Falls, and Seneca Rocks in West Virginia. A close up view of the black foamy water. Getting to the falls from the parking lot was quite easy.venturing off the trail strongly discouraged. I also enjoyed viewing the Joe-Pye-Weed in bloom at the time of our outing. God b...

Fadley Living: February 2012
http://fadleyliving.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 25, 2012. We are a month away from spring, but due to a mild winter and warm sunny days of late, my daffodils are starting to bloom. It's too early for daffodils! In my opinion, the only way to enjoy daffodils in February is to bring them indoors as they open up. The day after I brought these daffodils indoors, the temperature dropped, the wind blew, and snow flew about. All in all, I am enjoying the experience, and will probably try this again. Monday, February 20, 2012. The Peaks of ...
