Since I have been a slacker on the posting I thought I'd kill 2 birds with one stone - Drew's last day of school was last Thursday, May 24, and Corry's was today, Thursday, May 31. I'm happy to not have to pack lunches and fight about homework for the summer, but am a little sad about the end of another school year. He will have a great head start for Kindergarten. Tuesday, May 4, 2010. I know it has been a really long time since I have updated this, and I doubt anyone will even see it since everyone has probably given up on me! However, Riley is now 13 months old and is walking (almost running! And starting to talk some. We just got back from our first vacation with the Wortley's to Gulf Shores, AL. Riley had a great time! He even got two new teeth! Top 5 worst moments of the trip:. 4 The car ride there. 3 The car ride home. 2 Coming home to a house full of fleas.

Friday, April 20, 2012. I've contemplated giving up the blog. I mean seriously, it's been EIGHT MONTHS since I last updated it? But I can't. I love going back and re-reading old posts now. I can't imagine how much I'll love reading them in another 30 years. I'm a wordy person and I could probably recap the last 8 months by writing a novel. Thursday, April 26, 2012. It's Thursday, and the week has been what I describe as my new "typical" work week. I'm already past 40 hours, I'm exhausted, a little beat up, a lot behind, semi-stressed and overly brain dead. I left work with approximately 150 emails unread in my inbox so I reach for my blackberry in hopes to read, respond and delete as many as possible within the 45-minute block for dance class. I get through about four and then the red battery indicator says it has had enough and dies.

Tuesday, May 22, 2012. I always knew we had a great Greenbelt behind our house, full of wildlife and preventing us from ever having back-door neighbors. What I didn't know is how great of a workout it could be! I recently bought a mountain bike. I was looking for an exercise I could do on my own and enjoy. I've never been a runner, tennis is GREAT but you always need a partner, I never seem to stay in a routine with a gym, so why not try biking? Oh, and THANK GOODNESS for padded shorts! I'm not very good...

Corry will be in the Blue Fins class and Drew will be in the Angel Fins 2 class. They were very excited to get started! Friday, March 23, 2012. Monday, March 26, 2012. Star of the Week. Calyn is Star of the week this week. We created her little poster this week. I think some of you will love her interests and favorites. Calyn and her poster. All about Calyn. I am "6" years old. My favorite color is "blue". My favorite animal is "a cat". My favorite food is "cook carrots". This is what I look like. When I grow up I want to be "a baluringu" (ballerina). Pocusite" (Ponca City) is my favorite place. If I had one wish, I would wish for "a cat".
