Adventures in Eden: August 2012
http://flockoffowles.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Taking the garden with us wherever we go! Wednesday, August 22, 2012. The Cape: Day 1 and 2. Over the Fourth of July, our little family went to Cape Cod to visit my sisters! My oldest sister, Natalie, married into a family that has a beach house right on the water in Cataumet, Massachusetts. I drove the kids the whole way by myself! Big of a deal except this particular airport is tiny . We were all relieved when we got there! The house is so inviting and I love the little details that give it such charm.

The Christophers: December 2013
http://joelandjenchristopher.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 21, 2013. Today was just one of those fun days. We had such a great time. First, Emma and I went to a friend's birthday party: morning at the park and city fire house. Once we got home, we unloaded the car, whisked Emma off to the bath, and got David a bottle. She said the prayer tonight. It was a prayer of thanks. Posted by Joel, Jennifer and Emma Christopher. Adventures in Eden: August 2011

Taking the garden with us wherever we go! Sunday, August 7, 2011. I thought I'd post a quick anecdote about K1 while I am home from church with him as he recovers from being sick. We've been trying to teach him the consequences of doing/not doing certain things. For example, if he is eating a cracker and does not want to do so at the table, our conversation goes something like this:. Me: "K1, if you don't stay at the table to eat that, I will have to take it away until you stay at the table.". I'm still ...

The Christophers: April 2013
http://joelandjenchristopher.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Leading up to David's Birth: Part III Tuesday. I stayed up and couldn't sleep as a million things were running through my head. I worked on a blog post on my IPhone, but it just got deleted because the internet connection was sketchy. I took a deep breath and ate the entire spice cake at 2am. Went to sleep after for a couple of hours until I was woken up by the nurses to take my vitals. A new day nurse was amazing. She brought me a bedside potty, you know, as a gift. Lisa Burning...

Wednesday, May 21, 2014. This past Saturday, our family went to Gainesville to visit my niece, Michaela, who had her dance recital on the University of Florida campus. We met up with my sister's family, her mother-in-law and two nieces, and my parents. Can I just say how much I love the University of Florida? She dances beautifully and is such a talented young lady. This is a picture after the recital. It was a 2-hour drive to Gainesville,. Road trips make you kinda crazy. The recital was held at the Cur...

The Christophers: March 2013

Friday, March 29, 2013. Easter Egg Hunt 2013. Emma and I were lucky to be invited to a friend's house for lunch and a good ol' fashioned Easter egg hunt. I have fond memories of when I was young - the anxiety building up before being let loose for The Hunt. For 32 years I was always the finder. But this year, I helped with the hiding. Another reminder of parenting and its many joys. Emma's first Easter.in the NICU. So, this was a great change. Easter egg hunts do we, parents, get? If you're wondering wha...
