Shadows of the North exhibition opens at Queen St. Mill in Burnley. I am pleased to announce that my Shadows of the North exhibition has moved to Queen Street Mill Textile Museum in Burnley, the last steam powered weaving shed in the world. Due to a change in management at the museum, no end date has yet been agreed, so the exhibition will be on until further notice, so why not nip in for tea and a bun and see the fabulous mill engine 'Peace' while you're at it! DATE UPDATED - February Exhibition - Shadows of the North at Helmshore Textile Museum. I am excited to announce that my next exhibiton will open at Helmshore Mills Textile Museum on Monday 16th February 2015. This will be a variation on my Mechanical Landscapes exhibition and features 20 of my images of the textile mills of the North. Like the Mechanical Landscapes exhibition, these are high quality A3 monochrome photographs that I have printed on Fotospeed Baryta paper and then mounted and framed.

I have no definite plans for any further exhibtions at present (but am in ongoing discussions with a number of museums for next year and the year after) so go and see it while you can! It’s not every day you’re asked to produce a piece of work two metres across, so when a prospective customer requested such a large version of this Alicante panorama there was just the slightest moment of hesitation in my mind – could I really pull it off? After inspecting and signing off the finished print it was carefully packed and shipped across Europe on a next day service to Sweden and the result was, to quote the client, ‘spectacular’.
