Signal Through Noise: Retrospective for 2010
http://signalthroughnoise.blogspot.com/2010/12/retrospective-for-2010.html
Wednesday, December 22, 2010. It's kind of hard to believe that 2010 has already come and gone - and without any space oddities, mysterious obelisks, belligerent Artificial Intelligences (although Twitter could be a suitable analog). I hope that each of you, dear readers, also has a sense of hope for 2011 - that whatever your situation, that you're finding the strength in your own sense of hope and faith, that the coming year, despite whatever obstacles and challenges you face, will bring you new success...

Signal Through Noise: August 2011
http://signalthroughnoise.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 8, 2011. An old scribbling, revived. A long time ago, my older sister Beth went on a very long trip to South America, and before she left she invited friends and family to write in a book for her some saying or note or something we felt was of import or value to keep her company on her long solo trek. I hope you, my friends and readers, are feeding each other's tributaries and the grasses upon each other's shores. Posted by Tom Hobbs. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Growing Up Golden: The End of Another Year
http://thegoldengram.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-end-of-another-year.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. The End of Another Year. Another year, come and gone. It's been a pretty big year for all of us. We moved back to Austin this summer. Billy and I both started "new" jobs. Emily graduated pre-K and started Kindergarten, not to mention losing 5-6 teeth. It's been a rough last week of December. Unfortunately, the Houston BA group is mourning the loss of a precious baby girl that passed as a result of multiple major complications before/during/after her transplant. The people at t...

Enjoying life with family and friends one moment at a time. Friday, June 17, 2011. My Blue and Brown Tablescape! This past week was my big birthday. I refused to plan and decorate an over the hill birthday party. I think life is just beginning! They say that 50 is the new 30. I think that is hysterical. I'll take 50. I have worked for years, 50 years to be exact, to become the person I am. The person I want to be. The person I am finally OK being alone with when necessary. Between Naps on the Porch.

browsin' aroun': guest room re-do
http://hangingribbons.blogspot.com/2011/02/guest-room-re-do.html
Enjoying life with family and friends one moment at a time. Monday, February 21, 2011. My sister was coming for a visit. She finally arranged to have time off from both jobs for the same weekend. I wanted her visit with us to be very relaxing. I decided to start with a little re-do on the guest bedroom. Here is a picture from Christmas. The bedspread is a megan joneschenille I picked up in Canton, Texas at Market Days! The linen sheet is hand embroidered flea market find. Topped off with a pretty bow!

Enjoying life with family and friends one moment at a time. Friday, February 18, 2011. A desk for a vanity. We recently moved into our new home. Our dream Home! Of course there are couple of things that didn't turn out exactly as we had planned. but that's life, right? I had requested that my vanity area in the master bath have a knee hole so I could sit down while getting ready in the mornings. I haven't had much luck finding anything that would work until this week. I stopped by a local Church re-s...

Growing Up Golden: End of Summer 2014
http://thegoldengram.blogspot.com/2014/08/end-of-summer-2014.html
Saturday, August 30, 2014. End of Summer 2014. Labor Day is quickly approaching and there is so much to celebrate as we close this chapter of 2014. Weston celebrated his 4th Birthday. Emily learned how to ride her bike sans training wheels! Someone FINALLY is potty trained. Mom had a minor freak out when she received this germ-laden picture. Bebes took a plethora of selfies. Now we find ourselves at the end of August and the beginning of a new school year. ALL of his pics are blurry! We love you all!
