Our first california visitor! It's been a while since we have updated the blog! We have been bopping all over Cali! It's hard to believe I only have 3 weeks left at my hospital. We will be on the road again before you know it! Next stop is Seattle! Last weekend Court came for a visit! When life hands you Lemons. I guess the saying goes. When life hands you lemons, make lemonade! We have officially entered california! We drove through Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona in 2 days. We would be lying if we didn't question this whole adventure. We started to question our sanity, between the jeep, the jay feather, picking Cali(the dog) up while shopping, leaving the Brigham, a month in Bali and now here we are! Anne, Joey and Matty. We were on the ELLEN show! Kels' dream came true! I don't know how it happened! BUT Tama was told by a co-worker Kim, that of we checked last minute on Ellen's website there was a possibility we could get tickets and sure enough the Ellen show called us when we were at home for the marathon! A lemon pulling a lemon deep in the heart of Texas. Today was supposed to be our shortest drive-6 hrs.welllll.there is this buzzing sound coming from the entire bottom of the jeep. It gets worse when we accelerate, doesn't change if we are towing the feather or not towing the feather, and never stops buzzing. Getting settled in Old Pasadena! So we've only been in old pasadena about 5 days and we are already talking about extending. It is such a cool area and it's one of the quite towns outside of LA. Old pasadena is very historical. It's full of art museums, parks, breweries, boutiques, and endless restaurants of all types(Indian, afghani, Chinese, Korean, Mexican and more!
