It's the 1st of December tomorrow and all that Christmas knitting I was going to do hasn't been started yet. Oh well, looks like next year will be my year to do knitted gifts. but then I say that every year! I'm knitting for a craft fair though so I suppose that counts. Oh and Guilio's hat. I got that done :). I think he suits it although I'm not sure he's so convinced. It's knitted in Adriafil Knitcol.

The ups, downs, ins, outs and shake it all abouts of a wool shop owner. Saturday, August 27, 2011. Ladies pull on hat. You’ll need - 5mm and 6mm needles, 1 ball of Rico Galaxy. Using 5mm needles, cast on 64sts and work 10 rows in 1x1 rib. Change to 6mm needles and work in stocking stitch for 16cm. Decrease rows as follows -. 1st row - K1, *(K2tog, K5), repeat from * to end. 2nd row - purl. 3rd row - K1, *(K2tog, K4), repeat from * to end. 4th row - purl. 5th row - K1, *(K2tog, K3), repeat from * to end.

The ups, downs, ins, outs and shake it all abouts of a wool shop owner. Tuesday, May 3, 2011. This pattern is a quick knit and great for using up all your wee bits of cotton DKs. You'll need 5mm needles (UK6, US8) and some DK cotton. I used an end from a ball of Patons Cotton Rich. Cast on 5 stitches. 1st row - Knit. 2nd row - Increase in 1st stitch, knit to end of row. Repeat 2nd row until you have 50 stitches. 1st decrease row - K2tog, knit to end of row. Cast off and sew in ends. Where to find us.
