I am the sum of life-long decisions made…. January 16, 2015. January 21, 2015. January is a great time to ponder decisions that where made last year. More importantly ponder decisions that were not made- or not acted on last year. Pondering is an important gift given to us that most of us are to busy to take the time to do. The Law of Large Numbers…. November 8, 2014. That takes away a pretty big number. Problem #2: Why would any youth pay $200 per month for a policy with a $6000 deductible that they probably will never use vs. pay a penalty of approximately $100 for the year. Do the math, if health insurance wasn’t important to me before and I now have the option to pay $2400 for worthless insurance (perceived) vs. $100 in penalties Obamacare is diabolical! Why didn’t they make the penalty match the insurance premium?

I just had a dear friend pass away prematurely. He was kind, smart and a better person would be hard to find- but, I wonder when he left this existence, did he have things in order.
