NEWS FROM THE NETHERLANDS: April 2013

http://thezinneckers.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html

NEWS FROM THE NETHERLANDS. Tuesday, April 23. A quick look at Christmas 2012. European Christmas markets are one of the best parts about living here. While Germany probably holds the title for the most Christmas markets (in every city, town and village), most other countries also have their own versions. For us, it's less about buying gifts and more about experiencing the festive atmosphere, eating treats and drinking the hot gluhwein to stay warm! We had so much fun wandering around with them. This year...

http://thezinneckers.blogspot.com/2015/01/4th-of-july-weekend-in-switzerland.html

NEWS FROM THE NETHERLANDS. Saturday, January 3. 4th of July Weekend in Switzerland. Just a few days after returning from Croatia we decided to take advantage of Chad's four day weekend and drive down to Switzerland. The picture perfect Alps were something I had to lay my eyes on before leaving Europe! First, we stopped for lunch in Lucerne to see the famous covered wooden bridge with it's rainbow of flowers. The view from our chalet hotel was so great! The Eiger Trail is a hike that takes you along the n...

NEWS FROM THE NETHERLANDS. Saturday, September 29. I have been seriously neglecting my blog since May. I have no real reason for this but now there are so many trips to highlight it seems rather daunting! The two weeks we spent in Spain and Portugal. Our weekend anniversary trip to the northern region of The Netherlands. And we just returned from celebrating Oktoberfest in Munich! So many pictures and experience to share. How did I get so behind? Adeline is healthy so far but I'm sure she will get it next week :). Gotta love the pox! December 9, 2013 at 5:40 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Brown Family Blog. Tuesday, December 10, 2013. We are enjoying this Wheaton snow! The first time it snowed, I came home to Calvin throwing these snowballs at me! On Sunday we got at least 2 to 3 inches of snow. So far it's not too bad driving in it becuase the city is so great about taking care of it. Cloughs in Clogs: February 2013

http://thecaptainandfrauclough.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, February 28, 2013. Rome's best-preserved monument, the Pantheon is an engineering marvel that was first a temple dedicated to all the gods. The original temple was built in 27 B.C. by Marcus Agrippa, but was destroyed in a fire and the structure we see today was built by Emperor Hadrian in 120 A.D. Today it functions as a Catholic church. In fact, it is the only ancient building continuously used since its construction. Fifty thousand Romans could pack this huge stadium and cheer as their favor...

Confessions of a Tired Mom. View my complete profile. Monday, May 11, 2009. Confessions of a Tired Mom. I got tired of pushing my kids on the swing, so I taught Ryley how to go on her stomach (she still wants me to push her). I put leftover Valentine candy in my kids Easter baskets this year. I let Ryley play on the computer while I take a nap. I make my kids meals that only take 30 seconds-1 minute. I wear my workout clothes for more than half the day. We have leftovers for dinner at least twice a week.
