Our Adventures Around the World-Currently Landed in California. Long Overdue Pictures of our Newest Addition to the Family…Sortie Zippwald. April 1, 2014. We got her on January 3rd. Her name is Sortie (meaning basically, “a short flight made by plane over enemy land”). She is a Springer Spaniel and Poodle mix, making her a Sproodle or Springerdoodle. She was a handful at first, but is now falling into our family quite well. Here she was the day after we got her…she was 8 weeks old. September 12, 2013.
