Monday, February 06, 2012. Last week it was sunny and warm. Emma found time to mow the lawn,. Shovel dirt into Maya's water bowl,. And climb around in the herb garden box. http://www.thisoldalleyhouse.blogspot.com/2012/05/emma-adopts-lizard.html

Saturday, May 19, 2012. Emma adopts a lizard. While waiting to have the oil changed in our car last week Emma checked out the waiting room toys. I convinced her to leave her babies at home; frequently she has one tucked snugly under her arm. Posted by Lisa Alley. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Rumple Life: March 2010

http://rumplelife.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 22, 2010. This is copied from my other blog - The Skinny Mom. I wanted to update all of our friends and family about what is going on with Henry. As a mom, all you want is for your children to be healthy. It is so difficult to stay strong and positive when you find out there is a problem. Thank God for positive husbands - otherwise I think I'd make myself crazy worrying so much. Keep positive thoughts coming our way - and never take your kiddos for granted. Saturday, March 20, 2010. Rumple Life: Grandpa Val's Visit

http://rumplelife.blogspot.com/2010/11/grandpa-vals-visit.html

Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Grandpa Val drove out to visit from Illinois for a few days. We had fun taking him to one of our favorite restaurants - the Lowry Tavern. Henry really seemed to enjoy spending time with his Grandpa. Cory also enjoyed seeing his dad. They drove up to the Gunnison area with some other guys and went elk hunting. Much to my dismay, Cory was the lucky one of the trip and killed a big bull elk. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Cory, Sarah, Henry, and Jack. This Old Alley House.

Michael Masterov, 1968-2008. On June 24, 2008, Micheal died in Berrien County, Michigan when his motorcycle was hit by someone who apparently ran a stop sign. Local media is thin on the details. This web site is being built as a memorial. It's a work in progress as we put together his public writings, photographs, bio, etc. New: the guestbook is up and running. Monday, May 12, 2014. After months of searching and deliberation I finally decided on what to use for the front wall sconces. I picked up a couple vintage (circa 1970) Ray O Vac Sportsman Lanterns. This also covered the existing wall mounted gang box. I still have a little detailing to do yet, but I’m happy with the way they turned out. Monday, March 31, 2014. Home Revival Spanish Style. 1920s Florida Spanish Mission home restoration. Thursday, October 22, 2009. So I'm finishing up this week alone here at the Alamo; I'll be honest, I don't much like it here when it's empty. it echoes, and then there's that ethnic presence too, that seems to make white folks like me uncomfortable. Good thing Jaydee's car looks like a cop car! BECAUSE THEY WERE DIRTY! Jaydee is fortunate I have not set anything on fire in his absence. That's partially because I have Carlton Meow...

For those of you still in school, here is a quick {40 Minutes} lesson on Peter Max I do with 4th Graders. {Side note - our 4th Grade Social Studies curriculum is all about Virginia and American History so this is a perfect culmination for the year}. I don't reveal the final image or the artist we are learning about until about half way through the class. I'm not kidding when I say the last 15 minutes or so will be dead silent. Which way is up?
