This Red Head's World
This Red Head's World. Sunday, November 6, 2011. For my Sarah, it's been too long! I'm taking online traffic school as I update this. HAHAHA! Stupid speeding ticket on 27th avenue between Danny's and work! Zack is talking up a storm, he can pretty much have a conversation like a normal person, it's creepy weird! He likes to play games on the ipad, especially matching and spelling games :). He apparently also likes to eat his breakfast lying on the floor. He got a big boy bed a couple months ago! We had r...

This Red Lipstick
I'm not lying when I say I've been meaning to come back here for months. Today I'll do it. I tell myself. Today I'll write. And then I think about writing. I think about sitting in one place, quietly; typing one word, and then typing the next. And I panic. Because I don't write anymore - I talk. All day, I talk. My father finds it poetic I'm paid to talk for a living. After all, when I was a child, my parents would (and this is the truth) sometimes pay me to stop. I think I've forgotten how to write.

Ramblings and Image-inations from Life. Growing into Food, Motherhood, and Myself. Monday, August 26. I am about 2.3 months shy of giving birth to my third child. And though my daughter is now five, there are times when it doesn't seem any more real today than it did the day she was first laid on my chest that I am a mother. The birth of my son 18 months later, a healthy 9 lb 14 oz. boy, was the most empowering experience of my life thus far. If you want, you can read about it here. Links to this post.

February 26, 2015. TED Talks, Reddit and Alan Watts – What Are You Risking Your Life For? I’ve always been a big proponent of the whole “living the life of your dreams is the biggest adventure you can ever take” kind of philosophy. There’s a TED talk that’s always spoken to me. It’s by a gamer named Jane McGonigal and she talked about how playing video games can add years to your life. Noted the most frequently expressed regrets that people said while on their deathbeds. The regrets of the dying. Tl,dr; ...
