Motorhoming with NEILMAC: January 2010
http://motorhomingwithneilmac.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 18, 2010. No news from Autoglass prompted another phonecall to them this morning for an update. Amazingly. The depot I spoke to on Friday afternoon had been closed down that evening! Their workload has been transferred to Essex and their computer systems were down so could I ring back later! At times like these I wonder - is it just me? MOT expires this week. So I have many fingers crossed. Links to this post. Friday, January 15, 2010. Its coming from where? With no news about the replace...

Motorhoming with NEILMAC: March 2010
http://motorhomingwithneilmac.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 27, 2010. Spain on a budget. We've had a 4 week break from our travels and this has given us the chance to catch up with some post winter maintenance on our old Spanish house. And, with the 'luxury' of broadband, an opportunity to get a lot more work done and content/features added onto our Club Motorhome website. The Aires en route are:. Very happy to hear advice from others who may know of some good stopping places close to this route. With three very important aims:. When at 'home' I f...

Motorhoming with NEILMAC: June 2011
http://motorhomingwithneilmac.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Back to base and a catchup. After Cares Gorge we returned to Cangas for a another night before planning our trip back to home via a dozen stopover locations to research for Club Motorhome. 5 days later and we arrived back at our base, unloaded and parked the motorhome back in its secure storage all ready for our next trip in about 6 weeks - MOT and service time in the UK, Oh well. one has to pay for the pleasure eventually! All in our humble opinion anyway :). Links to this post.

Motorhoming with NEILMAC: March 2011
http://motorhomingwithneilmac.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 4, 2011. And now we are 3! We just had 3 weeks wild camping by the beach here in Spain, I chose not to blog while we were away as I fancied a proper break from website stuff and having to find wifi to upload updates etc. Anyway we're back at our home base so how did it go? We found a great spot along with a lot of other motorhomes from many other places in Europe but the reason for the title of this blog entry we also found ourselves a dog! We took the time while Paddy was still there to ge...

Motorhoming with NEILMAC: April 2010
http://motorhomingwithneilmac.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 29, 2010. Epiblog - Mission Accomplished! Well, home again and mission accomplished! More of that in a moment. The first to spend no more per day than our 'home' budget. The second to limit our diesel to our 'home' energy costs which includes electric, wood, gas, and water etc. To have fun and experience what the southern areas of Spain and, fingers crossed Portugal, have to offer us. Typically we ate well and healthily, obviously the slip-ups we had in the way of cheese and biscuit 'dinn...

Motorhoming with NEILMAC: The best laid plans.....
http://motorhomingwithneilmac.blogspot.com/2014/06/the-best-laid-plans.html
Monday, June 30, 2014. The best laid plans. Having spent several enjoyable but uneventful days at some Mediterranean Aires we pressed on south into Spain. We stayed at a couple of our favourite stopovers, Saint Feliu near Girona and Peniscola near to Vinaros. A few miles out of Peniscola I felt the steering go very stiff so pulled in at the next safe stopping point which was a fuel station (closed as it was a Sunday) and popped the bonnet to investigate. We were going nowhere. At this point we were a lit...

Motorhoming with NEILMAC: January 2012
http://motorhomingwithneilmac.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 17, 2012. That's going to be cold! We're route planning for our next trip which is mostly on familiar ground between Valencia and Norfolk in England. It's an exciting trip as we plan to arrive around the time our fifth grandchild is born. We have a vets appointment booked for next week so that Digger gets his annual rabies shot and anything else he needs before entering the UK. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Motorhoming with NEILMAC: February 2012
http://motorhomingwithneilmac.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 17, 2012. We managed to set off yesterday after hastily packing the van - we do seem to leave this to the last minute lately! Anyway, our normal routine is to travel about 35 kilometers to our favourite beach side wildcamp area, where we finish packing stuff into proper areas in the van and make up the bed etc. We also had the chance to say hello to some people that we saw last year at the same spot. With a couple of stops enroute to Huesca for food and drink etc we arrived while still l...
