Live and Learn with Sally. Sharing my thoughts and interests. Thanks for stopping by. Saturday, May 3, 2014. Woof, Grrr, Meow. July of last year I purchased a child's rag quilt pattern that has a bear. Dog and cat. They all look the same except for the ears. Last July I made the bear and this week I finished the dog. Last month my darling D. caught a hot deal on Amazon and bought me a Brother. The cat will eventually be made; this pattern is too cute and too easy not to do them all. A trip to Goodwill.

I like sharing things I've made as well as see and hear about crafts others have done. I'm thrilled to find an instant friend in someone who shares my hobby and enjoys talking about it as much as I do. We are a crafty family and have shared in multiple projects. L picked out the fabric and disassembled the chair for re-upholstery.

http://livelearnwithsally.blogspot.com/2013/02/upholstery-project-complete.html
Live and Learn with Sally. Sharing my thoughts and interests. Thanks for stopping by. Friday, February 15, 2013. In January I shared the post 2013 Kickoff. Highlighting my efforts to reupholster a chair and ottoman. We bought this chair almost 10 years ago with the intention of having it recovered. It was always in the back of my mind to try making a slipcover. Live & Learn with Sally: I Was Thinking of You....
http://livelearnwithsally.blogspot.com/2013/07/i-was-thinking-of-you.html
Live and Learn with Sally. Sharing my thoughts and interests. Thanks for stopping by. Friday, July 19, 2013. I Was Thinking of You. Working with fabric is a panacea for me. Handling fabric through cutting and sewing is an activity that puts me in a place where the cares of the day fall away. I tend towards projects that allow me the pleasure of creating, doesn't require a fitting and is forgiving with mistakes. Quilts are particularly satisfying because the outcome always looks good.
