Sunday, 13 June 2010. Been a while since I posted, there is always so much too do around the farm as well as finding time to make art. Of late digging out a pond for water storage, ducks, and drainage has been a priority as hurricane season has begun again. I have quite a few batches of plant fibers to cook up into half stuffs for paper making. I've been letting them dry up and ret on their own to make for a bit less work, hopefuly some will show up in my etsy store before too long :). Please visit often...

Palouse Ramblings: About this whole Jinglebobs thing
http://palouseramblings.blogspot.com/2008/12/about-this-whole-jinglebobs-thing.html
Wednesday, December 3, 2008. About this whole Jinglebobs thing. I’ll admit it, I’m a Tack Junky! I love searching the net for new tack stores and sites; I collect websites from different magazines I read and then check them out when I’m avoiding housework. I read tack catalogs in bed, and have piles of them in different places around the house. It helps that I have a horse to buy all those nifty things for. It doesn’t always work out so well for my checkbook though. Posted by J Renee. Happy New Year :).

What do you do when you are in the mood for Thai and pizza? Make Thai pizza of course! I didn’t really know what I was doing when I started out, but it turned out so good that I will definitely be making it again! I”m thinking next time I might try shrimp instead of chicken and see how that tastes! I poured some of the sauce onto my pizza crust, I used a premade...

Cornucopias: Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA)
http://cornucopiasart.blogspot.com/2009/01/consumer-product-safety-improvement-act.html
Thursday, 15 January 2009. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). The CPSIA is a `major topic of discussion amoung artists, crafters, and anyone who cares about children. However, in over exuberance a very poorly written, thoughtless, and outright detrimental piece of legislation is about to be foisted off onto the public, and those who serve the childrens market. The law as it is set to go into effect, doesn't address anything but lead, and thus is too limited in it's scope in that department&...

Palouse Ramblings: From the Farm - Problem Solved
http://palouseramblings.blogspot.com/2009/11/from-farm-problem-solved.html
Monday, November 16, 2009. From the Farm - Problem Solved. Hey Hon," said DH the other morning, "I'll plug in the horse's water heater on my way out.". That's a good idea," I replied, "I had to break ice the last two days. Thanks for thinking of it.". Problem solved without putting on three layers,' I thought. I love my horse, but water had turned into an issue lately. It all started with cleaning the heater. So come dark I didn't think to check his tank when I fed him. Besides. it was dark! He looked at...

Wednesday, December 23, 2009. White snow on red berries. Quiet moments beside the fire. The silver gleam of moon on bare branches. The cold wind on warm cheeks. A field of diamonds in sunlight. A crystal tear drop of ice. Swift water stopped quiet on its journey. The world made pure again. Posted by J Renee. Thats very nice. I like it a lot! December 24, 2009 at 5:36 AM.
