Some experiments have such a heavy downside they should never be let out of the brain-storming session. Poorly thought-out experiments in the economy are so harmful because they tend to have enduring ramifications. Change for the sake of change without fully considering and understanding the consequences is foolish at best, and approaches criminal behavior at worst. Can they be corrected? July 16, 2012.
