Thoughts from the paddock

Thoughts from the paddock. Saturday, May 23, 2009. The School and Paddy's Disapperance. What's the point of that? I've seen Paddy being sat on in here and I'm hoping Mum isn't thinking of doing that to me, she looks a bit heavy! Despite there being no grass in there I did find chewing the rubber quite fun but I can't say it tasted too good! Later in the summer Mum took Paddy from the field and he didn't come back! Pinkie is o.k. but he gets really crabby at times and without Paddy I'm a bit bored...Even ...

Thoughts from the paddock

http://thoughtsfromthepaddock.blogspot.com/2008/12/lorry-door-opened-there-was-my-human.html

Thoughts from the paddock. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. The lorry door opened and there was my human Mum Yvonne and so many other people.I'm not sure I've ever seen so many at one time! And only got to play during the day. It was a nice sunny day so we went straight to our new paddock. I crept up and looked at it - well if they think that's going to keep me in they must be joking! Getting braver I reached out with my nose, smells o.k., got closer (human Mum and Samantha looked worried! My human Mum and ...

Vice' Sleeping and snoring VERY loudly whilst I'm at it! When I'm asleep there isn't a lot that will disturb me and generally if you want to get past you need to climb over me as I'm not going to get up till I'm good and ready. I had great fun with Ugly and couldn't wait to meet the others up close too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Thoughts from the paddock: Goodbye To Mum!!!!

http://thoughtsfromthepaddock.blogspot.com/2009/03/goodbye-to-mum.html

Thoughts from the paddock. Monday, March 23, 2009. Life at Jevington continued with Ugly, Mum and I sharing our paddock and being stabled at night. My human Mum has moved Mum and I to a new stable where I am next door to Mum but can still see her. It's quite nice really as there are lots of things to play with and Mum can't tell me off! I particularly like pulling the rugs down and standing on them which seems to drive my Human Mum mad for some reason! Mum let us all go at the same time and we all flew o...

Thoughts from The Other Side of the Mountain

Sunday, September 23, 2012. Admire foster parents. They are the ones who take the tough children and have to keep giving them back to a relentless system that has no answers for the pain and struggle. Now I envy them. They are allowed boundaries. After they have struggled and loved and given all they have and banged their heads against the wall and rent open their hearts, they can say Enough! And pass the children onto a fresh heart, a renewed head. Those who can help, won't. Those who will, can't. Those...

Thoughts From The Outfield | Thoughts about our journey through life

Thoughts From The Outfield. Allan Stanglin's blog. Michael Bowen's blog. Take Up Your Cross. July 6, 2011, 9:06 pm. February 22, 2011, 3:14 pm. What is Christian leadership? What should a Christian leader be like? There is no finer example for Christian leadership than our Lord Jesus Christ. He declared, I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep ( John 10:11. The Christian leader is one who follows Christ and inspires others to follow Him as well. Just as the shepherd use...

thoughtsfromthepanda | I do my best thinking while driving. I drive a Fiat Panda.

I do my best thinking while driving. I drive a Fiat Panda. I grieve – one year on. I have been out of sorts all day today, and in fact all week. I’ve been anticipating the first anniversary of my beloved father’s death. My dad died on 28 October 2015. It was a Wednesday. It was probably the most dreadful Wednesday of my life. I will never forget the call when I was still at work one year ago saying, “Come. Now.”. So here, on the day-of-the-week anniversary, is a song of grief. But I know that you are fly...

Friday, July 3, 2015. God, help us. First, how would Jesus treat Dylann Roof? Certainly not. There are ALWAYS consequences to our actions. We serve a just God, but also one who forgives. How would Jesus treat the homosexual? He would love him. He would offer forgiveness. Why? First, because He cares about every ind...
