Icing on the cake. April 4, 2013 at 3:32 pm. And he still is not on growth hormones. As far as Max goes he’s been having a ton of stomach issues and might need an endoscopy. The meds are not working to help him. And the pulmonologist thinks his asthma is acting up and wants to rule out vasculitis. The icing on the cake is that I have/had thyroid cancer. I say had because I had my whole thyroid removed three weeks ago. They think they got it all but I will find out more next week. Enter your comment here.

And the list goes on and on and on. March 3, 2013 at 9:55 am. Here is our list of doctors (mostly ologists) that the boys have seen this year:. Urologist (talked to on the phone). Gastroenterologist (also talked to on the phone). Rheumatologist (going to on Friday). Orthopedist (one of the few ists without an olog in front that we see). Hepatologist (going to in a few weeks). I need a secretary. Our nephrologist said they should name a wing after us at the hospital! And its only the third day of March.

Archive for October, 2012. Sometimes when I talk to certain people I feel they think I am crazy or overreact or neurotic. I might be all of those! But I hate the feeling I get after these conversations about my boys and their health. The thing that bothers me is that they do “look” so good on the outside I really do feel most people forget how “sick” they are on the insides. Even health professionals. But…. let’s back track. I admit I am hypersensitive (as Matt likes to call me)! Amazing mom of 4 boys.

Life this side of ARPKD. Wednesday, 22 April 2015. Who said time flies? I went for my CVS on Monday but it couldn't be done, the placenta was too thin. I have to return on Monday coming and the wait is becoming more and more suffocating. I have to pick how best to get this baby out and grieve and be expected to live my life as normal having lost 2 babies. And then potentially 3, or 4 or 5 depending on how the Russian Roulette falls. And so I wait, and pray the guardian angels are on my side.

Well, for the most part of April, I have had a poorly baba, first with a really bad case of rotavirus and now recovering from cold/teething so, it's been a hard month but at least, unlike some babies, Theo has recovered so I am not too hung up on it. Life this side of ARPKD. Wednesday, 15 October 2014. One more step to the top of the city. It's been a long time since I posted here. So much has happened. I was determined to make this year an awesome one, even better than the one before. I'm actually, with my health anxiety, a bit concerned I may have a terminal illness because the year has been SO great. Well, the day came round and during the 15 minutes it took to sell out, I GOT A TICKET! After seeing Dolly, I was like, Can Kate Bush live up to this?

Waiting for my cvs and results was much harder this time because I know how amazing he is but the horrible bit after, he has made it so much easier because he is so perfect. Life this side of ARPKD. Monday, 25 November 2013. I really cannot believe it's almost Xmas again! I am SOOOOOO excited haha, like a big kid. Theo won't really understand much but he likes toys so it is going to be really fun. Theo is the universe to me more and more everyday. He is so funny and smart, I'm so proud he is mine. There is way too much to post since my last post over six months ago! And there is too much going on in my life!
