So, we've officially been slacking on updating this bad boy ( last post back in September. But hey, we've been busy. If you know us we're big fans of lists, so here's a recap of what's been going on in the JEllis house:. We went to lots of football games. K-State beats Baylor 36-35. K-State beats Missouri 24-17. Earthquakes hit Kansas and Oklahoma.

Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Winter, spring, winter, spring. The weather around here these days is crazy. First it's so cold we can barely walk from the car into school without frostbite, then its Tshirt weather, then cold, then warm, now cold again! We can barely keep up, but we have learned when the weather is nice, we head outdoors immediately! This is how we are spending our Saturday mornings, sometimes followed by a soccer game as well! 2 games down, slowly improving, or atleast having a good time :).

Thursday, December 27, 2012. Is Christmas already over? Seems like it came so quickly and went by in a flash. We had a great long holiday weekend celebrating with all of our friends and families. We started off at Grandpa's where Grant got a new art easel, which Evan thinks is his. And Evan got a train, which Grant thinks is his! Then we celebrated Christmas with cousin Drew and the Koskovich clan at our usual, Tim's pizza. And finally Christmas morning! Thanks to Santa, both boys are ridin in style now.

Tuesday, July 30, 2013. We have been enjoying the summer weather and relaxing when we can despite our incredibly busy summer schedule! We enjoyed some reggae music. We've been playing outside a LOT! Mommy celebrated her 32nd birthday last weekend. She had to be gone for a work conference downtown all day but the boys made a special trip to visit! We ate Mexican food Ponak's and then came back up to the hotel room for some cupcakes and jumping on the beds :). Thursday, July 18, 2013. Where have we been?

Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Evan is 2 Years Old! Can you believe this guy is 2 years old? What a difference a year has made! At 2 years here are some fun facts about Evan:. 1 He has all of his teeth except the 2 year molars which are slowly making their way in. 2 He has had 3 haircuts. 3 His favorite toys - any kind of ball. Sunday, January 12, 2014. Here Comes the Sun! Ahhh, after a miserably cold week where we could not even set foot outside, the sun has finally returned and today is almost 60 degrees. Feels like spring, but we aren't fooled, we will take advantage of this until the snow returns. Thursday, February 20, 2014. We are just about to head out of town for a family ski trip in Colorado. Trading in one cold climate for another! Grant will be learning to ski and we will be enjoying some family time, can't wait! In the meantime, we enjoyed our Valentine's Day with a little party at school and then enjoyed 1 quick day of nice weather before it all turned cold again. Come on spring! We are ready for you! The Shreve Family: Great Wolf Lodge

Tuesday, January 28, 2014. We had a great weekend stay-cation at the Great Wolf Lodge! The boys saved up their Christmas and birthday money and have been looking forward to this for weeks. It was more fun that we expected, from sleeping in bunk beds to playing in the water park, making a stuffed animal and doing a magic wand quest through the hotel. What a perfect weekend. They had been saving up big for the Build-a-bear, stuffed animals are always a highlight for these guys! Story time in the lobby.
