Thrifting For Fun

Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Having a party is lots of fun, but can be quite an expense. If you are having a party and plan ahead, you could utilize yard sales and thrift stores to purchase items for your party and save on some of those party needs. Some really great items that you may need to have a party, like large bowls or baskets for chips and dips you can usually pick up very inexpensively. When I buy baskets, I clean them up a bit buy brushing them off and then spraying them with rubbing alcohol.

Thrifting For Fun: Free Recycled Can Projects

http://thriftingforfun.blogspot.com/2009/01/these-craft-projects-combine-my-love.html

Saturday, February 21, 2009. Free Recycled Can Projects. All of these projects are using recycled Cans. These craft projects combine my love for recycling items and thrift store finds. In the top picture I used a juice can and the last 3 were made out of large coffee cans. Simply by gluing and wrapping the cans with jute or twine you will have a base to decorate in any number or ways. The third one was decorated again using a combination of those wooden finds that look like buttons and pieces of fur .

Thrifting For Fun: Free Craft project ideas from Thrifting For Fun

http://thriftingforfun.blogspot.com/2009/01/free-craft-project-ideas-from-thrifting.html

Sunday, November 1, 2009. Free Craft project ideas from Thrifting For Fun. Here is a really cute project using socks as the material to make wristcuffs. This is a great project for kids and teens. There is always these stray socks or the heal of the socks wears out and what are you going to do with them. Visiting Flea Markets and Thrifts in France. This is my little blog about all the wonderful and quirky stuff I see while hanging out at different flea markets and thrift stores in France.
