Friday, December 17, 2010. My boys are gorgeous, and here are some photos of recent adventures (big and small) to prove it:. Owen got an unopened jar of vegemite out of the cupboard, got it open, and dug right in. Disgusting! 160; Jackson loves being a pirate. He’s so cute I’d hand over anything he asked for! 160; We had a free day on Monday, so went hiking. It was okay, but we’ve had heaps of rain lately, so it was mostly just muddy. We had fun anyway. Thursday, January 13, 2011. Most of you have probably heard about the floods here in Queensland. We’ve been watching the news almost nonstop over the last few days, trying to keep up on what’s happening where. It’s been really devastating for so many people. Before I tell you all how bad it’s been, I do want to acknowledge that there are places much worse off than here. Like Brazil, where the death toll has risen over 400 from rain and flooding. But we live here, and this is what we are experiencing.

Avery was baptized last week on his birthday, which coincidentally was the same day I was baptized September 3rd :) I didn't realize how emotional I would be that day. It wasn't really because he was "growing up" it was more just being overwhelmed by the spirit testifying to me it is right and good.
