Friday, November 2, 2012. Once again, we got TWO nights of candy! We went to our ward's Trunk-or-Treat on Tuesday, then trick-or-treating on Wednesday! 4 kids x 2 nights of candy = LOTS of loot! Madelyn as Katniss from The Hunger Games. Olivia the Indian Princess. My friend took the 2nd picture with her awesome camera! Friday, July 13, 2012. Problem. . . solved! Well, I guess I'll be able to post a few pictures! I went to my Picasa account (wasn't really aware that I had one and was AMAZED to see that I had like 1200 pictures on there! And I deleted a bunch of pictures! I got to thinking and even if I don't ever make a book of my blog, I still scrapbook! So - I went through all the pictures (they show up on a huge grid and you can see about 100 at a time! Tuesday, January 31, 2012. She Did It Again! I told Madelyn that she has been the center of attention for long enough! Time to step down and let someone else have a turn! I was kidding, of course! Well, tonight, Madelyn had her first orchestra concert! She started playing the violin and is doing really well! She takes after her mother, naturally! You know, I did play the violin for a year and then the flute! Sure wish I would have stuck with one of them! Shayne was real exciting and got a Diet Coke!

But being that my little Ladybug's laying on the couch with a fever right now, I was reminded that I haven't posted these! This is our silly little girl (not quite as "silly" - or goofy - as her brother! She does NOT blink while watching TV! I've never seen anyone like her! Sunday, October 21, 2012. The kids had school pictures the week before and I refuse to buy them any more! First of all - they are WAY over-priced - like $10 for 4 wallets (and times 3 = $30 for only wallets? Second of all - - they are usually NOT worth the money! So, one of my goals for Fall Break was to take the kids' pictures! I do not have a fancy camera, and do not claim to be a photographer - but I think I captured some cute shots! And I can print pictures of all FOUR kids way cheaper!

Well needless to say the last few months have been an emotional roller coaster to say the least. We were saddened with the loss of two great men in our lives. We lost my father on June 20, 2011 and lost Alan's father on July 26, 2011. We will miss them both so very much! Both men passed with Military Honors. Zach, Josh, Sage, Chance, Cory and Allen carrying the casket. The chapel at the funeral.
