He had the most gorgeous face and was totally calm. The second the lady handed him to Tim, I thought my heart was going to melt! His too, but he may not admit it to you:). Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Last week I had an amazing interview for a job that I would LOVE. Nothing would be better than to get the call to say its mine! So until I wait on that call, I was offered a great teaching position today at a Montessori school in Maplewood. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. All work, some play:). We bought a house that was built in 1912 in St. Paul. Let me tell you. if you want move in ready house, keep looking! I wish I had taken pictures of what the house looked like before we did an amazing amount of work to it, but I was more focused on moving and going on vacation. We are so grateful to Ray and Mary for giving us this opportunity! Thanks so much to Bill, Tim's dad, for doing all the work to our house! His too, but he may not admit it to you:).

Thursday, August 12, 2010. Spending some quality time. We were so happy that Tyler came to stay the night at our house! Since moving, we have not seen them very much and the two miss each other tons! Kaylee and Tyler get along so well that it is so sad they are not able to see one another more often. Ty has always had a special spot for his sister in his heart. He is her little protector:). Welcome to our site! Friday, September 9, 2011. I had the opportunity to sit in Owen's [daycare] preschool class for about 10 minutes one morning this week, before going to work. While I was there, I was pleased to find out that the children are also learning colors and shapes in Spanish. Owen is well versed with the Spanish translations for red (rojo), blue (azul) and green (verde). I have started trying to teach him the words for yellow (amarillo) and white (blanco). Sunday, 18 January 2009. I miss the gulf stream! So we got back safe and sound, we landed in the snow and t hasn't stopped yet! There's about 1-2 foot outside and the temperature dropped to -22°C on Wednesday, that's similar to summer temperatures in the Arctic circle. Brrrr.
